  Beschreibung

  We are a family-run ranch and small campsite in Cyprus, with a variety of animals including 16 horses, donkeys, chickens, goats, and cows. We also grow fruits and vegetables and host guests in our yurts and cabins.
  
  We are looking to host people who are genuinely interested in learning about horses, rural life, and day-to-day ranch living. This is not a job position — Workawayers will be assisting us and helping alongside us, not independently responsible for any animals or tasks.
  
  You will spend time with us as a family, helping with light daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, general upkeep, and simple tasks around the property. When it comes to horses, you will always be helping with us directly — learning how we handle, train, and manage them safely. We do not expect volunteers to take responsibility for horses on their own.
  
  We place a strong focus on sharing knowledge. You will learn about:
  • Horse handling and ground tasks
  • Trail riding preparation and safety
  • Daily care and stable tasks
  • Life on a working ranch in Cyprus
  
  In return, we are also interested in learning from you — whether that’s different cultures, languages, ways of life, or skills you bring with you.
  
  Workawayers will stay with us either in our home or in a traditional yurt when we are at the ranch.
  
  You would only be involved with our personal horses and family at our family home.

  You will learn in and out of running a ranch, looking after the animals, and western riding and horse training. You’ll be included in family life, meals, and outings, and we often take trips around the island which you’re welcome to join. We want this to feel like a genuine exchange, not just help.
  
  Our goal is to create a balanced experience where you gain skills, enjoy the environment, and experience Cyprus, while contributing in a supportive and shared way.
