  Hey there, my name is Jennifer. We live on a island in the middle of the bay of Fundy, in New Brunswick, Canada it is a popular tourist destination with rich culture and deep history. Look us up, you'll be intrigued.
  
  We manage a few short term rental properties and have a thriving lawn care business. We are always working on projects to better our home and accommodation business. The Lawn Care is pretty straight forward, and can be demanding at times. But we enjoy the summer sunny days outside and appreciate every property as if it were our own.
  
  Because we are so busy especially in the summer, we also need help in our garden, watering, tending, pulling weeds etc. Having three young children keeps us fairly busy too! We would also require a nanny/housekeeper for our home.
  If you were a travelling couple with an interest in the well being of children and are good housekeeper we would consider the extra set of hands a huge asset.
  
  - You may be interested in applying just for the nanny/housekeeper position. It would be amazing to have you stay with us for a longer period of time. This would require you to watch the children, help with homeschool, cook meals, do laundry and help keep our home tidy. Please apply specifically for that, if it appeals to you.
  
  Our main business is providing lawn care services for a variety of clients and businesses, most every property has sprawling ocean views, Its so beautiful here.
  We seek a motivated individual with an eye for detail. We take pride in our finished product and our clients are very happy with our services. We would aim to hire someone with a likeness to the traits just mentioned.

  Living and experiencing life on Grand Manan is really extraordinary. We live in Seal Cove, the most populated and picturesque village on the island. We also have the best beach! It’s pure sand as far at the eye can see. Our home is 2 mins away and at night, when all is calm, you can hear the waves crashing, its truly breath taking.
  If you enjoy nature, this is the place for you. We have an extensive trail system, that runs almost the whole perimeter of the island. We host over 750 birds at many of our bird sanctuaries, we have excellent museums and art galleries. On summer nights, at Arthur's bench, you can watch the whales play in the rip tide while watching the sunset, while drinking wine, tea, beer or any preferred beverage, its really something to experience.
  We are a loving family and want to teach you English should you want or need to learn. We are very outgoing and are always working on some sort of project. I am sure you will learn lots.

  Lawn Care - Pay is dependant on experience. Ranges from ($13.00/hr - $18.00/hr)
  
  Housekeeping for Short Term Rentals - Pay is dependant on experience and thoroughness. Ranges from ($25.00-$45.00/ clean)
  
  We are looking for:
  A detail oriented person to mow lawns and trim around buildings and trees. This job is sometimes demanding and can be long hours working in the sun, we are always thankful to live on the ocean to experience the breezes. It makes the job quite rewarding. We only work Monday - Friday and our day is usually done by 4pm allowing you loads of time to explore the island.
  
  Also Looking for:
  Someone who will enjoy spending time with our children, making meals, doing laundry and helping to keep our home tidy.
  If you have building skills, can help with the garden, are into organizing, cleaning, painting, we appreciate you. We hope you'll roll up your sleeves and volunteer working alongside us with our many projects!

  Unterkunft

  The accommodation is in our home with shared common rooms and facilities. We are a very outgoing family, we enjoy dinners in our dining room, and spending time with our children. We also love games nights, we enjoy music playing throughout the day, doing puzzles and exploring outside.
  
  The front of the house has a porch, and a private entry. We have converted this space to accommodate a single or double occupancy situation double bed or single bed(s) depending on you and your situation. The other side of this space has a seating area with a little extra space and privacy.
  (This seating space would be a bedroom area if 2 seperate beds are required)
  We are able to accommodate different sleeping arrangements, should you be travelling as friends, families, co-workers or couples. Just ask us!
  
  Accommodation can be discussed in further detail once correspondence has been made. Talk soon!

  Was noch ...

  There are lots of events and activities on the island to experience. But I encourage you to also explore southern New Brunswick on your days off. (a Car would be needed) The cities in the area provide excellent food and entertainment, concerts, festivals and shopping.
  Our island is renowned for its adventure tourism, its excellent trail system, whale watching, museums, shops and its art gallery.

  If you would like to bring a campervan or trailer, we have a piece of property that can accommodate. There is no electrical or sewage, but there are beautiful ocean views and its across the road from the beach. There are a couple campgrounds that you can dump your tanks and shower at.
