Hello everyone,
We are Rocío, Mati, and Río (our dog), residents and protectors of a beautiful piece of land in the high mountains of Córdoba. We arrived four years ago wanting to start a quieter life, in contact with nature, to learn from it. Little by little, we've been creating agroecological gardens, rainwater harvesting systems, natural building structures, and solar energy systems to try to live as self-sufficiently as possible and minimize our impact on the environment while it regenerates.
The project is located in Portezuelo, about 8 km from Luyaba, Traslasierra. The place is truly a paradise with spring water and incredible 360-degree views. Nature at its finest. It's a spectacular place for those looking to disconnect, relax, and work as a team.
We intend to expand with more gardens and an existing structure.
We have a beautiful dome for volunteers to enjoy. We also have good-quality Wi-Fi.
Mati: Economics teacher, inexperienced builder, scuba diving instructor, and passionate about learning new things.

Hola a Todas y Todos,
Somos Rocío, Mati y Río (nuestro perrito), habitantes y protectores de un hermoso pedazo de tierra en las sierras altas de Córdoba. Llegamos hace 4 años con ganas de emprender una vida más tranquila, en contacto con la naturaleza, para aprender de ella. De a poco fuimos armando huertos agroecológicos, sistemas de captación de agua, construcciones naturales, y sistemas de energía solar para tratar de vivir con la mayor soberanía posible e intentar ser lo menos dañino que podamos con el ambiente mientras se regenera.
El proyecto se encuentra ubicado en el Portezuelo, a unos 8km de Luyaba, Traslasierra. Realmente, el lugar es un paraíso con agua de vertiente y unas vistas 360 increíbles. La naturaleza en su máxima expresión. Es un lugar espectacular para quienes busquen desconectar, relajarse y trabajar en equipo.
Tenemos intención de avanzar con más huertos y expandir una construcción.
Para recibir voluntarios tenemos un hermoso Domo para que tengan comodidad. También contamos con WIFI de buena calidad.
Mati: Profesor de economía, constructor sin mucha experiencia, instructor de buceo y un apasionado por aprender cosas nuevas.

We are two incredibly curious people, both with university degrees from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). We've traveled to every continent and love meeting new people and exploring new places. Being able to host people in our home gives us the opportunity to continue expanding our horizons. We speak several languages and love the chance to practice them and learn new ones.
We have a projector where we watch movies, and we love making music and dancing. It will be a pleasure to share these activities with anyone who comes to help us with our project.

Somos dos personas super curiosas, ambos con Título Universitario de la UBA, viajamos por todos los continentes y nos encanta conocer gente y lugares nuevos, poder recibir personas a nuestro hogar nos dá la posibilidad de seguir expandiendo nuestras fronteras, sabemos hablar varios idiomas y nos encanta la posibilidad de practicarlos y conocer nuevos.
Tenemos un proyector donde vemos películas y nos encanta hacer música y bailar, va a ser un placer compartir esas actividades con la gente que nos venga a ayudar en nuestro proyecto

We're interested in receiving volunteers because we love meeting new people.
We know we can't do it alone, and volunteering is a form of cooperation where both parties benefit. We want to advance our project by expanding our gardens and adding to a small house built using natural building techniques. We know that those who come will enjoy the peace and quiet of the place and its beautiful natural surroundings. We're not experts in any of the permaculture disciplines, but we're very excited to share what we know.
We've volunteered on other projects, and this time we're going to give it our all to be great hosts.

Nos interesa recibir voluntarios porque nos gusta conocer gente nueva.
Porque sabemos que solos no podemos, y el voluntariado es una forma de cooperación en donde ambas partes ganan. Queremos avanzar en nuestro proyecto ampliando huertas y expandiendo una casita con bioconstrucción, sabemos que quienes vengan van disfrutar de la paz del lugar y su hermosa naturaleza. No somos expertos en ninguna de las materias de la permacultura pero estamos muy entusiasmados en compartirles lo que sabemos.
Fuimos voluntarios en otros proyectos, y esta vez vamos a dar lo mejor de nosotros para poder ser buenos anfitriones.

Unterkunft
To host volunteers, we have a beautiful dome with a stove, ensuring their comfort and privacy. There is a shared composting toilet and shower, as well as Wi-Fi access at the hosts' house. The exchange is three meals a day in return for 25 hours of weekly volunteer work.

Para recibir voluntarios tenemos un hermoso Domo con anafe, para que tengan comodidad y un espacio de privacidad. Hay un baño seco y ducha de uso compartido y antena de wifi en la casa de los Anfitriones

We are located 8km from the town of Luyaba. You can reach us by bus to the Luyaba town square and by long-distance bus to Merlo/Villa las Rosas and Villa Dolores, which are located approximately 40km from Luyaba. We have our own transportation and go down to town once or twice a week.

Estamos ubicados a 8km del pueblo de Luyaba, se puede llegar por colectivo a la plaza de Luyaba y buses de largas distancia a Merlo/Villa las Rosas y Villa Dolores, ubicados a 40km aproximadamente de Luyaba. Tenemos movilidad propia, y bajamos al pueblo una o dos veces por semana.
