Hi everyone, I'm Miquel!
I'm reaching out from Catalonia, a beautiful and distinct nation within the Spanish state now, with an open invitation for Workawayers to come and experience life here with me.
What am I most excited about? Sharing! I love talking about Catalan culture, our unique traditions, our complex history, and all the little things that make this place feel like home. I'm a pretty straightforward, friendly guy who, like many of you, loves to travel when I can. Connecting with people from different walks of life and learning from their stories is something I truly value.
My own travels have taught me that the deepest connections to a place are made through its people. That’s why I’m so keen to offer you that 'local lens' on Catalonia – a chance to see it, understand it, and live it in a way you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. If you're open to new experiences and always hungry for new knowledge, I think we'll have a lot to share!

I've gained a lot of experience on my travels over the years. As someone who is self-employed, I'm super flexible with my schedule and always open to new challenges. This means I have plenty of time to share with my hosts, whether it's helping with a project or simply exchanging stories.
I'm also passionate about history and culture, having studied history and geography at the University of Barcelona. I'd love to share insights about Catalonia's rich history and unique identity with you!

Unterkunft
I have a large family home with a spacious guest room for travelers, which has two beds. If you're traveling with a friend or in a small group, we can easily arrange more beds to make everyone comfortable.
I'm also passionate about food! I love to cook, and I have a lot of experience making big paellas and traditional Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine. This is a great opportunity to share our food traditions with each other—I can teach you how to cook a fantastic paella, and I would love to learn about different foods from your home country.
