I stayed with Paolo and Alessio for two months. The experience was fantastic and I have nothing but words of gratitude for them. The work itself was easy to do and spiritually rewarding, consisted of feeding the dogs, letting them out and then taking them back to their resting places. As for the farm animals, they need to be fed and their places
… read more need cleaning and tiding up. Paolo and Alessio were always very friendly and caring for me and the other volunteers. Also they're great cooks, sometimes with the assistance of their Bimby.
I had the chance to share with two other lovely volunteers, with whom I went out for food and drinks and had a great time.
Another plus are the sights around Foligno, such as Assisi, Perugia, Spello and many other beautiful towns, waterfalls, caves, etc, all within an hour's drive.
In addition, everybody in the house helped me a lot to improve my italian.
I strongly recommend this volunteer experience!

En cuanto al trabajo, nos ha encantado. Poder trabajar con los perros y los animales en la granja, cuidarlos y aprender de ellos ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora.
Es un trabajo distendido, divertido y una vez que te adaptas a la dinámica te permite tener mucho tiempo libre para hacer conocer y disfrutar de Italia.

Abbiamo passato un mese e mezzo da Paolo e Alessio. Loro hanno stato veramente gentili e abbiamo molto ridere insieme. Ogni pasto è preparato da loro e sono buonissimi e generosi! Abbiamo una casetta per noi, che ci lo permetteva di avere la nostra intimità. Ci hanno fatto fiducia subito.
Hanno dei cani da loro e un canile, ma anche una fattoria
… read more con capre, asini, galline e oche. I giorni con gli animali sono tutti diversi, ci è piaciuto scoprire la vita con loro! Dato la fattoria è nuova, il lavoro può essere intenso e le ore di lavoro distribuite durante tutta la giornata.
Alessio prendeva il tempo per farci imparare l’italiano e era molto paziente con noi, abbiamo imparato molto a casa loro.

… read more wonderful it is when they do. Being with them gave me peace and I miss them :). I really like working outdoors and with people and/or animals, the place is good for that. If you speak good Italian when you arrive, you would probably have more opportunities to socialise. But Alessio is also a great teacher.
The accommodation is nice and private, you have everything you need and although you're independent, Alessio and Paolo are very good hosts trying to help you where they can. They even provided fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables from their own chicken and garden.
