  City of Vancouver (East Van near Trout Lake Park) -- one bedroom for up to two people.
  
  I’m a graphic designer and partner in our neighbourhood cafe. I’m looking for help making over a few things in our house, some painting and decorating, and with making over the outdoor gardening/landscaping for spring.
  
  I travel half the year (digital nomad) and have had the benefit of great hosts, cultural exchanges, and friendships around the world and would love to offer a place to stay and help you get to know life in Vancouver.
  
  Strengths: Great shared house with nice housemates, your room is bright and sunny on the second floor. Full flexibility, come and go as you like -- it's fine to come in late after a night out, no specific work times, preparing your own meals when you like if our plans don't align. Great for digital nomads.
  
  Weaknesses: Suits independent people who can find their own way around, and who can choose a work task and see it through to completion without much supervision.

  We are warm and welcoming and you'll enjoy the chance to see some of Vancouver and connect with other travellers. I've lived in Vancouver all my life and look forward to sharing our knowledge about the culture and history, and on great things to do while you're here.

  Arbeit

  Up to four hour hours per day, max 20 hours per week. Best if we agree on a specific task where you have great skills and can work independently, such as gardening/landscaping, painting and trim, decorating/room makeover, cleaning and repairs, cooking, or running errands.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a three-storey, three-bedroom townhouse in East Vancouver. You will have a private bedroom with a double bed, shared bathroom. We have in-house laundry, great wifi, and a fully stocked kitchen. Very likely we'll have bikes for you to use.

  Was noch ...

  We are located in East Vancouver, about 45 minutes from the airport on bus/skytrain, and about 20 minutes by bus to downtown. Walkable neighbourhood with a great park and great public transportation to get around Vancouver. We are very likely to be able to share our bikes with you to get around.
