Beschreibung
Hello there. We are a family running a certified organic farm in the heart of the Okanagan valley in Kelowna BC. We are always expanding our garden, building sheds, fences and raising animals for food, manure and eggs. We also make a lot of preserved food such as canning, fermenting and working with herbs.
If you have carpentry experience that would be very useful. We have all sorts of odd jobs so if you like diversity in your experience we certainly can offer that.
We are an English and German speaking home, always interested in learning other folk's culture and respecting all fellow beings.
We have a camper for a comfortable private stay, with an outdoor kitchen, shower, washer and dryer facility close by.
Lunch and dinner is provided and breakfast will be self made with ingredients provided since we all get up at different times.
Our goal is to spread our knowledge of organic farming and agriculture to those who wish to perhaps start their own farm day or simply want to explore what farming looks like.

We are for the most part a German speaking family and are open to all cultures and religions of people. We offer a home that is open and understanding and we encourage people to be authentic; therefore we can all learn from each other.
Arbeit
Living on an Organic farm we need someone with a general understanding of working outside, with animals and carpentry. We can also use help in the kitchen, cooking, canning, and baking. There is always lots to learn and do.

Unterkunft
We provide two meals a day, lunch and dinner. We accommodate meat lovers and vegetarians. In our house everyone is getting up at different times so breakfast food will be available to be made by yourself in the kitchen.

We are less than 5 minutes away from the vibrant city of Kelowna. There is plenty of sightseeing, swimming in the lake, hiking, biking. A bit of everything for everyone.
