  Beschreibung

  We are a family of 5, with 3 grown up girls who live away most times of the year. Our property is located 40km from our closest town, Taroom off a bitumen road. We, David and Sarah, and are looking for someone, preferrably a couple, to come and caretake. We are a sociable family and are keen to welcome travelers and let you experience our slice of the Australian bush. We are 10km from the local weir and 20km from The Isla Gorge National Park.   Arbeit

  No particular skills are required other than awarness of the bush and common sense. We have cattle, horses, dogs and chooks. Idealy watering gardens, checking waters and feeding animals mostly on a small scale.

  Unterkunft

  Accomodation is separate (cottage) with access to internet, no air con although ceiling fans, hot water available, own shower and toilet. Meals will be provided as you are encouraged to eat with the family however, we are not used to vegan or vegetarian diets. There are basic cooking facilities in the cottage if you would desire.

  Was noch ...

  We enjoy the outdoor life and have a great environment for experiencing the Australian bush. Nearby, within 5-30mins drive, are national parks and multiple scenic attractions and water holes. There is a bus service to Taroom from Brisbane and Rockhamton but your own transport would be an advantage.
