  We are a family of 4 in Vancouver. We live in east Vancouver by trout lake and commercial drive in a 4 bedroom house with veggie gardens and a large sunny outdoor deck. Our neighbourhood is walkable and the rest of Vancouver is easily accessible by public transit.
  
  Our son is 6 and in grade 1- he's quite chatty and social and is very into science experiments, drawing and exploring nature. Our daughter is 3 and is a bit quieter but extremely loving and quite funny when she warms up to you- she loves dancing and singing at the top of her lungs. We try to play outside as much as possible and make the most of beautiful Vancouver!
  
  Kate is a family doctor who sometimes has odd hours (nights and weekends) and Mike is a lawyer.

  We'd love to host someone who wants to join in on the fun and day to day workings of our family while having loads of time to explore this amazing city. Bonus if you speak French as we are hoping to expose our kids to more French! We are happy to practice your english with you and show you around our amazing city.

  Arbeit

  Hoping for someone to join in on the fun with our little family- our kids are in fulltime school/daycare but I often work odd hours so we really just need extra hands for some evenings for dinner/bedtime and morning before school with a bit of help on the weekends here and there.

  Mike grew up in Montreal and is fluent in French and English. Kate speaks extremely basic french and spanish. We are excited to expose our children to more languages and help people practice their English.

  Unterkunft

  Bedroom with a queen sized bed in a 4 bedroom 1800 square foot home. There is a small desk in the room. You would share the bathroom with our 6 year old son.
  
  Kitchen is a shared kitchen- you are welcome to join in family meals or cook your own food!

  Was noch ...

  Come hang out in beautiful Vancouver! There is so much to do here- hiking, skiing, biking, going to the beach- etc. We have an awesome electric bike you can use to easily get around town or you can borrow one of our cars if you can drive manual.
