Searching for help with animalcare, gardening, faming,forrest work. Long term stays preferred.
Hello everybody,
We are Daniela (34), Christian (37), our son Hendrik (9) and Jannik (7) and Elena (5). Moreover there is Honey, the wonderful dog, a Cat,some sheep, ducks, chicken, fish, cattle and free range pigs. We try to get better in permaculture and live with nature as good as possible.
We have been part of workaway ourselves and started becoming Hosts in 2011 and had absolutely fantastic helpers since that time. Out house is big and comfortable and we are happy to share it with you.
The type of work depends mostly on your skills and if you are willing to learn new things. We are happy to share our home and knowledge with you and you should be able to do the same.
We are running a property with 4 ponds where we get our fish from, in summer we spend lots of time there because we are having a wonderful lake for swimming as well.

I stayed and volunteered for several weeks. I learned about cob and putting it up on the wall. I got to experience what it's like being with sheeps, pigs, chickens, roosters, and bunnies. Christian has a very nice family and I recommend going to volunteer. Thanks guys!

We spent one month with Christian and Daniela at their beautiful farmhouse. We absolutely enjoyed our time with them.
The work ranged from mixing cement, to caring for the animals, to working with clay.
They both have a wonderful knack for cooking! We enjoyed every meal they prepared for us!
