Hello, we are writing from our newly created Public Association based in Jyrgalan village, Ysyk Kol province, Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. We are looking for workaway volunteers to our organization.
We invite you to discover beautiful Jyrgalan Valley located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, 60 km away from the town of Karakol. This is a relatively new and evolving tourist center focusing on eco-tourism, active recreational activity, extreme sports and forms of travel that are traditional for Kyrgyzstan.
Jyrgalan is currently developing as a tourism spot with unique nature and unlimited opportunities for winter and summer tourism. Local residents have built comfortable and cozy guest houses for tourists seeking for new experiences from visits to places with intact civilization and nature, as well as gorges and waterfalls of unforgettable beauty. Travel to Jyrgalan will become an unforgettable adventure for anyone, who loves wildlife and fresh mountain air.
At our organization at the moment we have 7 members and all of them are struggling with English language. We want to host 2 volunteers at one of our guest houses in Jyrgalan for exchange of English classes for our members. Also we need help with marketing.
We can provide food and accomodation. We are looking for people to stay at our place at least a month.

Jyrgalan is very small village with population of 1000 people. You will have a chance to meet with a lot of local people. We will happily share our Kyrgyz way of life and traditions. You can learn about our local cuisine, local sports, music, folklore, and we have a lot of stories to tell. You can also stay in the yurts, ride horses, trek in the mountains etc. Also you will have a chance to experience our kymyz, fermented mares milk.

Guest house with bathroom inside, WiFi, hot water, heating, with food cooked by our locals.
You can visit Ysyk Kol lake and go swimming there. Go for treks close to Karakol and Jyrgalan in the Tien Shan mountains. Paragliding, skiing in winter, fishing, horseback riding, bike riding and so much else to do.
