Welcome to Taiwan! Welcome to University Cafe!
It's the best cultural exchange center in Taipei. We are NOT a hostel but we accept guests all over the world.
If you wanna travel as a local and share your opinion, we always welcome you to stay here!
We are a non-profit co-working studio in Taipei, focus on social innovation topics.
We organize lots of cross-border cultural exchange program for Taiwan young professionals. On the other hand, we invite plenty of Couchsurfers to our studio help coordinate their cultural event for local participants.

Most important of all is the people you'll meet here. That's also the value of workaway.
In our studio, you can meet graphic designer, community manager, illustrator, beat-boxer, magician, social issue writer, actress, guitarist.. etc. We will welcome you with Taiwanese warm hospitality!
Arbeit
We're seeking for social innovation project collaborations. Let us know what you can share. For instance, your impact experience, a meaningful social project, some potential cooperation proposal in your country, real connection, and so on.
Project #1:
The easiest way may be a sharing session from you.The topic can be cultural sharing, your job, your side projects, or any of your life experiences.
I'll also invite our members, neighbors, or local friends to join your sharing session. There will be around 7 to 10 people. We also have projector if needed.
Project #2:
Besides, as a social innovation project. We want you to record Taiwan with your photography (either by phone or camera is fine) and your word. I'll collect them and publish into a book i the end of this year.
If you have any design or creative skills, you may also be interested in our local projects.
Project #3:
We're a;so looking forward to knowing your creative idea or any proposal that you want to do in Taiwan. Collaboration or individual projects are all welcome!

Unterkunft
It's a bunk bed in a private room in our studio. There is no kitchen in the house but we have a fridge. Food in Taiwan is really delicious and affordable. We are also willing to share you around Taipei.
Maybe go hiking, surfing, diving, city exploring, night market visiting or any cool things to do!
Helper will not work more than 15 hours per week. We DONT provide wage for your stay but if the social project is creative and meaningful, we can try to figure out the budget.
We provide food recommendation. Restaurant around our office offer delicious and affordable meal and we can have food around or maybe visit night market together!

Our studio is near the city center in Taipei. For workaway, we anticipate you to stay at least 1 weeks and help us on some projects.
