We absolutely loved this place and the people here. What we appreciated the most was how everyone cares for one another and is so thoughtful and caring. Working in the garden was such an enjoyable experience—it gave us the chance to learn new things while also engaging in cultural exchange with the hosts.

Thank you so much for lending us the bicycles, which allowed us to explore the charming little areas around Gimel ;)
It was also our first time using a dry toilet—what a unique and eco-friendly experience! Haha definitely will try this concept when we back to Malaysia!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to live with you all for two weeks. It was incredible, and we’d love to come back and visit again in the future.
Special thanks to Simon, Marie, Jana, Antonio, Marie Fleur, Dominic, Mathieu—and, of course, the little ones who brought us so much joy: Ismael, Fina, and Simon’s lovely daughter <3
We had such a great time, learning about life in this lovely community for three weeks in Switzerland. After a brief phone call clearing up the details we headed their way. We were greeted and shown around and instantly felt welcome and at home.
The work was primarily in the garden so we got to ask questions about permaculture which we really

Otherwise we painted a room, my husband helped with some small projects that involved tools, the kids were welcome to join in when they wanted and they did every now and then. Sometimes we helped cook meals and if the weather was good or we had worked on the weekend they insisted we take an afternoon off to visit Lake Geneva or do some other excursion that they would help us to plan out.
We had a small garden shed (small but new and clean) where two of us could sleep on a bed/matress, the rest of us camped. Used a compost toilet, which we knew from a previous location so that was just fine. There's a few shared spaces outside and inside that we could then use if it was rainy or colder. We had to ask for a Hotspot from one of the community members every time we wanted to use the internet- but as long as someone was home that wasn't a problem.
Overall I highly recommend heading their way if you are curious about life in a small community, want a peaceful, relaxed work schedule/atmosphere and otherwise want to enjoy the beautiful nature and mountains around. (Our two boys have grass pollen allergies and unfortunately while we were there they acted up quite a bit, otherwise we could have imagined possibly staying longer)
We had a really wonderful time with Stacy, Sebastian and the children. It was inspiring to meet a family who have chosen to give up everything and travel. Stacy and Sebastian were very flexible about the type of work that they were willing to do, from gardening, to cooking, painting and other jobs. They helped us a lot during their stay. The

We had nice conversations and they shared some of their practices with us.

Vom Workawayer (Basile) für Host
We went there for two weeks, early july.
We were greatly received, felt comfortable from the start, and met chill and welcoming people.
We spent the first few days installing solar panels on the roof, working in the garden, and then worked on a few other projects for the house. We could have open communications about the work needed which allowed
