Dear Workawayers,
You are welcome to come stay in your own bungalow with private bathroom close to Otres beach in exchange of courses. We are running, onsite, a lovely Hotel / Restaurant with a friendly Khmer team. There, you will be eating delicious traditional Khmer and western food for free. Teach a subject in which you are specialised in. The course must be in English or Spanish ( must be your native language ) . Courses start from 8 am to 12 on a great covered patio overlooking a mangrove lined river. Have the rest of the day left to explore the surrounding area or just take a ten minutes walk to the famous Otres beach to enjoy a swim, street food or just simply enjoy the sunset. On weekends, you can visit the nearby Islands ( Koh Rong / Koh Rong Saloem / Koh Ta Khiev ).
My name is William ( Guillermo ) and i am a French expat that has been living in Cambodia for eighteen years. My wife, Pov is Cambodian and we have three children, a 11 years old girl ( Sorya / grade 6 - 7 ), a 17 years old boy (Sem / grade 11 in Europe now) and a 26 years old girl (Sokchea / works in the family business).
My youngest daughter Sorya was going to an English school for 3 years before moving to a French school in October 2018 for 2 years. The school shut down in 2020 because of Covid and I have been doing home schooling since then. I am looking for a native Spanish or English speaker to help me teach.
Sorya (11years old / grade 6 - 7) is fluent in both languages. I would like the volunteers to be able to cover a few of her subjects from her program that I am following and consolidate her English or Spanish grammar. I ask for a minimum stay of 2 weeks to make the experience profitable.

The majority of the team is Cambodian so there is a big time to share time with them and share about khmer culture. Possibility to go to the beach in 10 minutes walking. Head chef can also teach some traditional khmer dishes if interested in cooking lessons.

The experience with both kids has been very rich. Sem enjoyed his psychology lessons and litterature with you. Sorya made significant progress expressing herself in spanish and enjoy her Yoga lessons with you. She has been very sad when you left.
