Female helper needed for May 2026!
May is lambing season, so I need an extra hand around the house, while I take care of the animals.
Sheep farm in the middle of the mountains next to Hardangervidda.
Single mom raising two young kids( a boy and a girl)
We live a healthy lifestyle with good, nutritious food and outdoor activities.
In our daily life I need help with general household and to spend time with the kids.

We live just next to Hardangervidda, a plateau made for scenic hikes in summer and XC skiing in winter.
Lots of other outdoor activities throughout the year
Winter season is from October/November through April. Summer from June/July through August/September
The sheepfarm is a small farm, but if workawayer is interested, they will come to learn about this type of farming. Work hours in itself is not necessary. In May we have lambing season and it is a hectic, but also joyful time. From June all the sheep are out in the fields and in the mountains and we spend time hiking around, to check the animals, wich also gives a great opportunity to see the beautiful nature that we have around us.
The village is working on including everyone, so there are activities to be part of, to get to know other people. (yoga, and sometimes a cafe for the local people).
The village called Geilo is just 15 minutes away and offers lots of different experiences, such as outdoor/nature activities both summer and winter, cinema, cafes, pubs and restaurants and cultural/educational walks in the area.

Help out around the house and play with the kids!
I need a person to help out with daily tasks like house cleaning, laundry and tidying.
The kids are in school/daycare between 8 am and 3.pm, so there will be plenty of free time to explore.

We try our best to always sit down and eat our meals together as a family.
It is important that the workawayer eat with us, to experience the family-feeling.

If you like hiking or skiing this is one of the best areas in Norway to stay in.
Car can be available if needed.
In summertime we want to use our cabins in the mountains, it would be lovely to have a workawayer with us!
