  Welcome to the Hostel! We're a social, family-run hostel in the heart of Tirana, where volunteers, staff, and guests quickly become part of one big family. Our goal has always been to create a place that feels like home, where everyone is welcomed with open arms and genuine connections are made over family dinners, social events, and everyday life at the hostel.
  
  We believe the best volunteer experiences come from working together as a team, sharing ideas, and creating an atmosphere where every guest feels like they're staying with friends rather than simply checking into a hostel. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own personality, creativity, and passions to help make the Hostel a place people never want to leave.
  
  You'll be welcomed by Hostel Manager Jared and the rest of our local team, who love sharing Albanian culture with both guests and volunteers. While you're here, there are also optional opportunities to earn some extra money by getting involved with things like cooking our family dinners or hosting social events and activities. There's never any pressure—it's simply there for those who'd like to take on a little more responsibility and become an even bigger part of the the Hostel family.

  One of the best parts of volunteering with us is experiencing Albania beyond the typical tourist route. As a close-knit local team, we're passionate about sharing our culture, traditions, food, and favourite hidden spots, helping you experience the country the way we do.
  
  Over the years, we've built great relationships with local cafés, bars, clubs, and businesses throughout Tirana, giving our volunteers the chance to experience the city's social scene like a local. We also love the outdoors and are always happy to share our favourite hiking trails, day trips, beaches, mountain villages, and hidden gems across Albania. Whether you're looking for nightlife, history, nature, or culture, we'll happily point you in the right direction—and whenever possible, you're welcome to join our team on adventures and excursions.
  
  We hope you'll leave not only with unforgettable memories, but with a genuine connection to Albania, its people, and a second family you'll always be welcome to visit.

  Arbeit

  As part of the Hostel family, you'll join a close-knit team of volunteers from around the world, all working together to create a welcoming home for our guests. We believe everyone brings something unique, so we encourage volunteers to share their skills, ideas, and personality to help make the hostel an even more special place.
  
  Your day-to-day role may include helping with reception, housekeeping, family dinners, social events, and the general running of the hostel. We work as a team, support one another, and always try to match people with the roles that suit them best, while remembering that sometimes we all pitch in wherever we're needed.
  
  For volunteers who'd like to get even more involved, there are optional opportunities to earn extra money by cooking our family dinners or hosting social events and activities. Along with accommodation, two meals a day, and health insurance, we hope you'll leave not only with great memories of Albania, but with lifelong friendships and a family you'll always be welcome back to.

  We will provide accommodation in a staff 6 bed mixed dorm room and offer 2 vegetarian meals per day (Breakfast and Dinner)

  the Hostel is located in a central and convenient area of Tirana, with easy access to public transport and everything you need nearby. The neighbourhood has a warm local feel, with traditional restaurants, cafés, and shops close by where you can enjoy authentic Albanian food and experience everyday life in the city.
  
  Our hostel has all the facilities you need to feel comfortable during your stay, including a beautiful outdoor area, modern bathrooms, a separate kitchen, air conditioning, working spaces, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of common areas to relax and spend time together.
  
  Most importantly, we’ve created a space where people feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Whether you’re sharing a meal, relaxing in the garden, working alongside the team, or simply chatting with travellers from around the world, the Hostel is a place where connections and friendships naturally grow.
