  Beschreibung

  Our project is a small, family-run vineyard where we produce our own wines and craft cheeses. Everything we do is handcrafted and personal, from caring for the vines in our garden to making and tasting the final products. Our team is only me, my wife and daughter. We don't have any other stuff at our place.
  
  The vineyard is not only a working farm, but mainly is a welcoming space for guests. We host visitors in a small house located directly at the vineyard, surrounded by nature and beautiful views. Throughout the year, we also welcome international tour-groups, so there is always an opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures.
  
  As a Workaway volunteer, you will experience life in a family project full of nature, village vibes and hosting guests. At our property we have our family house, where i live with my wive and daughter. Also we have separate old village house, where volunteers will live. And we have garden to host day tours and separate small guesthouse at the vine garden.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We offer a cultural exchange experience based around food, wine, and hospitality. I produce craft cheeses and wines, and I’ll happily share my process, techniques, and knowledge with you. You can also learn about caring for our small private vineyard during the season and understand how grapes turn into home wine.
  
  We regularly host international guests and tours. We often cook together in our outdoor pizza oven, which is always a fun and social activity.
  
  We share meals and daily life together, and I can help you practice Russian through conversation.

  Spring:
  - Helping with taking care of vineyards: variety of tasks connected with gardening
  
  Summer
  - Preparing our small guesthouse at the vineyard for guests
  
  Fall:
  - Help in producing wine: variety of different tasks on different stages
  
  Jobs that volunteers will not do: taking payments from guests, sell food, wine, etc. Sometimes I may need help in preparing location for upcoming tours or cleaning after. Also volunteers are free to join us with guests.
  For all periods we can host up to 3 people. We accept solo travelers, couples and other options - please contact us to discuss details.

  Unterkunft

  Separate small village house consist of: living room with fully equipped kitchen, banya (steamroom), bedroom, bathroom. House is located right near vineyard and hosting location. Bedroom has a double bed and can easily fit a couple if you travel together and there is also separate single sleeping space in the living room.
  
  Workawayers will stay at a separate house for staff with their own fully equipped kitchen. During all stay Workawayers will have option to cook food themselves from provided products. We will provide you with basic sets like local seasonal vegetables, eggs, dairy products and etc. Also you can always share a ride with us to the market and bazar to choose products. Sometimes we will share family meals together. Also we have pizza oven outdoors and you can use it to cook.

  Our volunteers can enjoy village life and surrounding wonderfull nature:
  - We have bicycles and a lot of trails for a ride
  - Issyk lake is in 20 minutes by car
  - We have historical museum as our Issyk city is a place where Issyk Golden Cataphract Warrior was found
  - Plenty of trails through surrounding hills and rivers
  - 30 minutes by car to the Talgar area. There are buses on that route.
  - 1,5 hour by car to Almaty. There are buses on that route also.
