Beschreibung
We are in a farmhouse in the deepest part of Spain, 7 km from Polan, Toledo. We have pistachio trees, animals, vegetable garden and a lot of desire to organize~establish the project, we have been 14 years, of rural self-sufficiency linked to art, music, circus..., biodiversity and socialization.
After several years of welcoming all kinds of volunteers and inhabitants, we are in a moment of reorganization to improve the coexistence.
So we are only a few people plus the weekend visits.
Volonters will live with me ,Barbara 47 years old at the main house.
Near the main house (at Movil Homes) live the "Chicken Family" (Mother Noemi 36 years old, Father Sergio 38 years old and two childs Zara 16 years old and Kevin 21 years old ) .
So we are looking for independent volunteers (you will be often alone at the farm), who have some experience and like to enjoy the country life.
There are basical rooms for volonters and a dry toilettes.
The areas to work on are :
* helping the "Chicken Family" to care Chicken House (there are 3 sheeps too) : feeding. paintining...
* Organisation of already existing spaces for collective use> kitchen, workshop, house, shed of recycled materials....
*General housekeeping and maintenance of the house and animals (at the main house are two dogs and a cat)
* Vegetable garden.
IMPORTANT! to speak a little bit spanish or to be interested in learning it
We are open to new projects.
We are 20km from Toledo where you can get by bus and 70 km from Madrid by bus one hour and half.
Volonters colaborate at self sufficiency areas ,and the little money that we get is for paying electricity and the products that we can not produce or recycle.
Digital Nomads are welcome!

Estamos en un cortijo de la espagna profunda a 7 km de Polan,Toledo. Tenemos pistachos, animales, huerto y muchas ganas de organizar~establecer el proyecto,llevamos 14 anos, de autosuficiencia rural unido al arte,musical,circense...,la biodiversidad y la socializacion.
Tras varios anos acogiendo a todo tipo de voluntarixs y habitantxs nos encontramos en un momento de reorganizacion para mejorar la convivencia.
Asi q estamos pocas personas mas las visitas de los fin de semana .
Lxs voluntarixs viviran conmigo, Barbara( 47 años) ) en la casa principal.
Cerca dela casa principal en unas Movil Homes vive la "Chicken Family" (padre Sergio 38 años, madre Noemi 36 años y dos hijos: Zara 15años y Kevin 20 años ) .
Por lo que buscamos voluntarixs independientes (pasaran mucho tiempo solxs en la granja) ,que tengan algo de experiencia o ganas de aprender y les guste disfrutar de la vida de campo.
Tenemos dos habitaciones para voluntarixs bastante basicas y baño seco.
Las areas a trabajar son :
* Ayudar a la" Chicken Family " a mantener y arreglar el gallinero y alrededores , tambien hay tres ovejas.
* Organizacion de espacios ya existentes para uso colectivo> cocina,taller,casa,nave de materiales reciclados....
*Bricolaje y mantenimiento en general, casa y animales ( en casa hay dos perras y un gato)
*Huerto.
Importante hablar un poco de castellano o estar interesadx en aprenderlo.
Estamos abiertxs a nuevos proyectos.
Estamos a 20 km de Toledo donde se puede ir en bus a visitar un dia y a 70 km de Madrid en bus hora y media.
Sitios bonitos a visitar alrededor en bici,andando o vehiculo.
Lxs voluntarixs colaboran en las areas destinadas a la autosuficiencia donde no obtenemos beneficio economico simplemente son para el autoabastecimiento y el poco dinero obtenido se destina a pagar la luz y los productos que no producimos o reciclamos.
Nómadas digitales son bienvenidxs.

Here travellers can learn about ecological vegetable farming, looking after animals, cooking homemane bread and pizza and sustainable way of life. They will also benefit from the experience of living as part of a community.
We love meeting new people from different ages, countries and backgrounds. Volunteers will improve or learn languages here and get to know better our local culture.

There are many different chores (we would adjust to your interests and skills): vegetable garden, hens and chickens, 3 sheeps, bio and recycling-construction, house work, wood oven cooking....

Very important to love de country live . we are in the middle of the deep spain where is not a lot of water, and the house is rustic not a ecohotel. all the basical needs are covered
