  Beschreibung

  Hi, we are looking for help decorating the outside of our house and outbuildings. Painting the walls and window frames, rubbing the wood down and all the prep work associated with doing a great job.
  
  We moved to France from England to slow our pace of life and spend more time enjoying the amazing wine and cheese France offers. We speak English around the house but in our lovely town there is lots of opportunities to improve your French. We have a large dog (german shepherd) called Bear who loves everyone - there is always something to keep us busy.
  
  We live in a gorgeous maison de maitre 6 bedroomed in a small town in Dordogne. Super friendly place and a choice of restaurants, bars and bakeries are just a few minutes walk away. There is also a bus into larger cities for fun day trips if you want to explore.
  
  We love to cook so a wide selection of meals is typical. Vegetarian is no problem, vegan is fine too but I might need some help and ideas for meals :-) I'm a keen baker so there is a good chance of cakes too.

  We are native English speakers and beginners in French, but with French friends in the village - so there is a great opportunity to improve both your French and English staying with us.

  - Exterior Decorating
  
  We are planning to revamp the outside of our house and outbuildings in Spring 2024 and need lots of help to do a good job when we get the right weather. The house is high so ladder work/scaffold tower use will be required.
  
  We will be rubbing down the wooden window frames, making good any defects in the wood and painting or staining. The walls on 3 sides of the house also need a fresh coat of paint.

  Unterkunft

  Private room in the main house. Double bed or twin beds (your choice), private bathroom (separate to bedroom) .
  All food provided in return for your efforts, we will cook your main meal but you can help yourself to lunch and breakfast items.

  You can walk into the local town from our house where it has some bus links out to larger cities. You are always welcome to join us on our forays further afield when we go.
