Hi, we are a small family living in beautiful Vienna, Austria. We, that is: Two adults (44 & 50), one child (6) and a Portugese water dog puppy, living in a vegetarian, non-smoking, alcohol-free household.

Arbeit
We are looking for a cheerful, friendly and responsible person to support with
- bringing to and picking up from school,
- looking after our dog
- playing, singing, dancing, reading,
- going outdoors and being physically active (hiking, riding a bike, playing active outdoor games with a child and a dog...)
- having fun
- being creative
- preparing small, healthy meals
- supporting the child in staying tidy
- good German skills are absolutely necessary
You should feel comfortable spending time with an extrovert, very chatty child who is full of ideas and games. You will feel comfortable with this if you are a physiclly active, creative and playful soul, who is also able to state clear, friendly boundaries when necessary. Previous experience with children (regular daycare/babysitting, smaller brothers, workaway, or pedagogical training…) and dogs is definitely a plus.
Usually we will be needing help from Mo.-Fr. from 6:45am to 8am and from 4pm to 7:45pm (the afternoons may vary slightly). 1-2x a month we would be needing support on a weekend day (instead of on a weekday). Feel free to inquire, if you have any questions.
You are welcome to live along with our family and we will support you in feeling at home and happy in Vienna - discovering the cultural offers and leisure activities this wonderful city provides.

We require you to understand and speak German at least at an intermediate level. We are only able to host you, if you speak German at at least an intermediate level.
Unterkunft
Your accomodation would be a very nice, fully furnished bedroom.
It is a family household, whenever possible we have meals together.
Our household is vegetarian, non-smoking and alcohol-free.
We live in a large, quiet apartment with a very good infrastructure (public transport, cultural and sports and leisure activities nearby including swimming), there is a garden and a terrace and a roof terrace, as well as very friendly neighbours. Vienna is a peaceful, serene and very safe city with pure, good-tasting drinking water. Even living in the city, our house offers a warm and welcoming community.

The bonding happened almost quicker than humanly possible and I wasn‘t bored for a second. The little man is incredibly cute and very playful.
By now I live in Vienna and our friendship has grown ever since. I still spend a lot of time with these lovely humans❤️❤️
