  UPDATE September-october 2025!
  
  From September 1, I will be away 4 days a week and will return at weekends. So I need someone to stay at home to look after my pets and garden while I'm away, and help me with the house and my moving when I return on weekends.
  
  I need help with the garden and preparing for my upcoming move this fall (deep cleaning, sorting, tidying...)! I especially need help with household chores, so need someone who likes to clean, organize and tidy :)

  Hello!
  
  I'm Emma, a Galician/Mexican girl (41y.o.) I live with my son Natan (14 years old), our cat (Nawak, 15 y.o.) and our little dog Rubi (3 years 1/2) at a cozy apartment in a pretty village, near (by car) from services and a lot of heritage interesting points. The apartment is bright and overlooks our little garden, the pretty little park of the village, and a Castle (look at photos!)
  
  All around, trees, forest, nature, and some pretty ancient stone houses!!
  
  We love to meet new people. talk, laugh! sing!!
  
  I love music, singing, and playing guitar (a little). We often go to jam with friends.
  
  I love cooking when I have free time... (some Mexican-Galician food, and mostly, "Emma's inventions"! ).
  
  I have a little own business (I'll produce and sell some chili and spices products, without gluten , and recently I've begin to sell drinks (smoothies milkshakes, natural jus...) at markets and festivals. And I give conversational online Spanish lessons too.
  
  Natan is at home in "homeschooling". He live half the time with his father.
  
  We have a pretty little garden in front of the apartment (it is an ancient house divided into 2 apartments) and a part of other garden that we share with a neighbor. We do that garden in respect of nature and life, so no chemicals, and we try not to disturb the soil and the plants.
  
  We have quite good internet access.
  
  **We try to live in an eco-friendly and economical way, so we are attentive to reducing gas, water, and power consumption. So we will appreciate it very much if you help us with that :=)
  
  **It is important for me if you use only eco-friendly and biodegradable cosmetic products like shampooing, soaps, deodoeant, etc. (I'm sensitive to chemical odors) We and the earth will be grateful for you!. :)
  
  I think you will love to be here, the department of the Lot, has a rich natural and cultural heritage, and there are a lot of things to do and to discover! it will be a pleasure for us to advise you about some places, transport, and if we can, maybe go with you to visit or bring you to some places :)

  We'd love to talk in Spanish or French with you if it could help you; we can show you the village and depending on the time and the possibilities, other places....
  
  Several hiking trails begin from the village. We will be pleased to show you. We love hiking.
  
  We will be happy to propose you come with us when we go in the car to places that you could love. Go swimming in the river, lake, pool in summer...
  
  We can talk about France, Mexico and Spain and I can cook Mexican, Galician and Spanish depending on the ingredients I can find, yummy!! :)

  Depending on the date, and your economy, you can come with us on travel (I'll go sometimes to Galicia), maybe to the Pyrenees for camping, to the Mediterranean....

  Arbeit

  Depending on the moment of the year, I'll be asking you to help me with some of these tasks:
  
  - Help with housework:
  I would like to spend more "quality time" with Natan, that's why I'm looking for help especially with housework, as I will be able to take advantage of those moments to be with him without stress :). I need time to work in my little busyness too, and time for taking care of myself.
  
  Cleaning, tidying the house, cooking, and some interesting projects like reorganizing the space: toys, books, furniture, etc. to make this space more pleasant! all ideas are welcome! :)
  
  - Help with DIY:
  If you are handy and know how to work with wood, I have some projects like shelves and other ideas to make at home and garden.
  
  - Playing/teaching music:
  I sing and I have also a guitar and I'd love to improve my playing... :)
  If you have musical talents we would love to learn with you! I would like to learn the piano as well..
  
  - Speaking English with us.
  
  - Help with the garden

  Unterkunft

  Bed and 3 meals (not the snack between meals) :)
  
  As the apartment has only 2 rooms, Natan's and mine, we can propose you to sleep on the sofa in the living room (it is very comfortable and big for one person, but if you do not sleep well there, we can talk about it and find solutions), we also have mattresses to put on the floor, sometimes I propose my room (for example if I host a couple of Workawayers) and sleep on the sofa... everything is possible :) Eventually put a tent on the little garden...
  
  IMPORTANT :
  **During work breaks (lunch time...) and days off, we will share normal household chores as roommates (if one cooks, the other cleans, keep toilets, bathtub and sinks clean, sweep, etc.) to keep the house tidy and pleasant for everyone on a daily basis.
  
  **On the last day of your stay I will ask you to do the cleaning: wash your sheets/towels, vacuum/mop the bedroom or the space where you slept or the whole apartment if you were in House/pet sitting.
  
  **I am very sensitive to tidiness, cleanliness, so please make sure you agree with these conditions, as well as the rules about our ecological and economical way of living that I mentioned above , because it is very important to us. Thank you! :) 🙏
  
  **When I ask for petsittint/housesittint, as they will not represent 4-5h work per day, and I'll not be there for the shopping, I'll offer accomodation but I'll ask you to bring/ buy your own meals. Thank you for your understanding :)

  Was noch ...

  The Lot is a department with a lot of activities, music, sport, hiking, cultural activities, etc. The summer we have some interesting festivals (Blues festival in Cahors, Lot of Saveurs-local gastronomy, Les Rencontres de Cinéma de Gindou and many many others...).
  Concerts every time everywhere-
  
  We are at 25 minutes from Cahors, and from there It is easy to go to Toulouse by train (1h30)
  
  There is no public transport in the village, but the nearest bus stop is 4 km away. If I am not at home, I have a bicycle for you to use.
