  My name is Laurent, and I am in the process of restoring an old olive grove located in the middle of the forest. I would like to offer hospitality to a guy or partner, in good physical shape, who would like to help alongside me on this project.
  
  Je m’appelle Laurent, et je suis en train de restaurer une ancienne oliveraie située au milieu de la forêt. Je voudrais offrir l'hospitalité à un gars ou un partenaire, en bonne forme physique, qui souhaite travailler avec moi sur ce projet.

  I personally have had very little opportunity to travel, and I am very eager to learn about the different ways of life, the different cultures that one can encounter in the world. I am particularly interested in the way of life and the arts of native peoples where the difference between culture and nature does not exist. I can of course share my knowledge about Provence, its agriculture, its traditions. I can also introduce you to yin yoga and the well-being massages that I practice.
  
  J’ai personnellement très peu eu l’occasion de voyager, et je suis très avide de connaissances sur les différents modes de vie, les différentes cultures que l’on peut rencontrer dans le monde. Je m’intéresse particulièrement au mode de vie et aux arts des peuples natifs où la différence entre culture et nature n’existe pas. Je peux bien-sûr partager mes connaissances sur la Provence, son agriculture, ses traditions. Je peux également vous faire découvrir le yin yoga et les massages bien-être que je pratique.

  Arbeit

  Help is welcome for forestry work (clearing, felling, pruning, sorting and crushing, recovery and storage of BRF), firewood, recovery and storage of sawdust), development work (stone removal, leveling soil, construction of outdoor installations), horticultural work (maintains olive and fig trees, landscaping of the vegetable garden).
  Most of the time, you may have to use motorized cutting machines (brush cutter, chainsaw, mulcher) which require great caution, a lot of concentration and physical strength.
  
  De l’aide est bienvenue pour les travaux de foresterie (débrousaillage, abatage, élagage, tri et broyage, récupération et stockage du BRF), bois de chauffe , récupération et stockage de la sciure), les travaux d'aménagement ( épierrement, nivellement du sol, réalisation des installations extérieurs), les travaux horticoles ( entretient des oliviers et figuiers, aménagement du potager).
  Vous allez devoir, la plupart du temps, utiliser des engins de coupe motorisés (débrousailleuse, tronçonneuse, broyeuse) qui nécessitent une grande prudence, beaucoup de concentration et de la force physique.

  Unterkunft

  For the moment, I can only receive one workawayer inside the house, and a second possibly in a camping tent (during the summer season).
  
  Je ne peux recevoir pour l’instant qu’un seul workawayer à l’intérieur de la maison, et un deuxième éventuellement sous tente de camping (durant la saison estivale).

  Between Green Provence and Verdon, depending on the period you come to, you will be spoiled for choice to occupy your free time: walks in the forest around the estate, swimming in the natural swimming pool in the river which crosses the village at the bottom of the hill (5 min), canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding on the river (15 min) or the lake of Ste Croix (30 min), or in the creeks (1h), hiking or by bike in the Var massifs, the Verdon gorges (largest canyon in Europe) or on the coastal paths, visit the perched villages of the Var, the many ceramic craftsmen or woodturners, wine estates ... I will be happy to help you with any expectations you may have regarding exploring the region, and would be happy to learn about your part of the world from you as well.
  
  Finally, 3 elements to take into account before contacting me.
  First of all, I'm gay and I have a cat. So, if you are homophobic and / or allergic to cat hair, it is better to move on to another ad ...;)
  Then, the jobs you are going to participate in may require some physical strength and the use of motorized cutting tools. It is therefore better to be in good physical shape and to be properly insured.
  
  
  Entre Provence verte et Verdon, vous n’aurez, suivant la période à laquelle vous venez, que l’embarras du choix pour occuper votre temps libre : les promenades en forêt autour du domaine, la baignade dans la piscine naturelle aménagée dans la rivière qui traverse le village en bas de la colline (5 min), les randonnées en canoë, kayak, paddle sur la rivière (15 min) ou le lac de Ste Croix (30 min), ou dans les calanques (1h), les promenades pédestres ou à vélo dans les massifs varois, les gorges du Verdon (plus grand canyon d’Europe) ou sur les sentiers du littoral, la visite des villages perchés du Var, des très nombreux artisans céramistes ou tourneurs sur bois, des domaines viticoles…
  Je serai heureux de vous aider dans les attentes que vous pouvez avoir concernant la découverte de la région, et serait heureux également d’apprendre de vous sur votre partie du monde.
  
  Pour terminer, 3 éléments à prendre en compte avant de me contacter.
  Tout d’abord, je suis gay et j'ai un chat. Donc, si vous êtes homophobe et/ou êtes allergique aux poils de chats, il est préférable de passer à une autre annonce... ;)
  Ensuite, les travaux auxquels vous allez participer peuvent nécessiter une certaine force physique et l’utilisation d’ustensiles de coupe motorisés. Mieux vaut donc avoir une bonne forme physique et être correctement assuré.

  I myself work partly remotely for graphics work, so there is sufficient connection. However, it is a satellite connection, so much slower than an ADSL connection. Je travail moi-même en partie à distance pour des travaux graphiques, il y a donc une connexion suffisante. Pour autant il s'agit d'une connexion satellite, donc beaucoup moins rapide qu'une connexion ADSL.

  It is possible to come with a car or a van, but the forest path that leads to the house is not passable for a motorhome. Il est possible de venir avec une voiture ou un van, mais le chemin forestier qui mène à la maison n'est pas praticable pour un camping car.
