  Beschreibung

  We are a family farm located in the natural park of Mount Subasio on a hill 6 Km from the city of Assisi.
  We have been living here since 2009 but this year we started a project to create a non-formal education center for young people that want to learn an alternative lifestyle with respect towards the nature that surrounds us.
  The farm is mostly self-sufficient, our water comes from a spring, some of the electricity from solar panels, and most of the food comes form our garden, orchard, and fields.
  All the produce is for our own consumption and we do not sell to the public.
  
  In the morning we grow our food and take care of the farm; and in the afternoon we have activities and courses like: hiking in the park; weaving of baskets of various materials; distillation of essential oils; making creams and candles from beeswax; sourdough bread; recognizing and picking wild herbs.
  
  We are four, Tsuf (2000), Nevet (2003), and our parents Simon and Noa.
  Both of us were homeschooled; we play the accordion and we have at home also other musical instruments like guitar and piano for the guests.
  
  You are welcome for a period from one week to one month. The accommodation is a private loft in our house or for the more adventurous we can offer a tent (in summer);
  The meals are shared, everyone takes turns to cook.
  Our diet is vegetarian and we ask to please respect the place without smoking and alcohol.
  
  We speak Italian, English and Hebrew; one of us speaks also French and Spanish.

  You could learn about yourself and your relationship with nature, how to live simply and as self sufficient as possible.
  We can teach you how to grow your own food, how to make baskets, bread, essential oils, and other various activities that we do on the farm.
  During your stay you will be a part of our family.

  Arbeit

  The help needed depends a lot on the period, some of the things our guests can help us with are:
  Growing our own vegetables, fruit, nuts, wheat, lavender and other officinal plants; taking care of the donkeys; alternative beekeeping; seed saving; picking and drying fruit for the winter; making plants and trees from seeds, cuttings and grafts; picking wood in the forest; maintenance of the equipment, fences, the electricity and water systems.

  Unterkunft

  We offer accommodation in a private room in our house, or we can provide a tent with mattress and bedding (in summer) if you want to sleep outdoors.
  
  The meals are shared, all our guests eat with us, we offer 3 meals a day and guests can help in the preparation. All our meals are vegetarian.

  Around our place there are several very beautiful walking trails inside the natural park of mount Subasio.
  There are many magical towns in the area such as Assisi, Spello and other less known places.
