  We are a Mayan family from Santa Cruz la Laguna, and are always looking to cultural exchanges. We have three kids, and 4 dogs. We manage a small hotel close by the lake shore where we mostly spend our time. In our free time we like going out, hike, eat, travel by boat and share as a family. At the mean time we are involved in several educational organization at the school, we like supporting our community in every way we can. We love adventure and meet people from all over the world! You are always welcome to meet us!

  For many years my home town is know as one of the most remote villages in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala and it is also know as one of the 32 villages in poverty and high nutrition problems.
  
  WHAT IS NEXT?
  
  I need to develop videos related to may home town of Santa Cruz la Laguna. I just became the mayor for my village and I want to drive investor, people, organizations that want to support my home town in the creation of a strong economical sustainability. I need people with connection and part of my dream is to send this videos to BBC NEWS, CNN and other international channels that could help and expand all de information.
  
  I want help with shot content, several segments in English, Spanish and French. My french is not fluent enough but I am more than ready to learn and come up with a great presentation.
  
  This would be the first time in my country for a mayor to connect with the world in different languages and this will be a great opportunity for my village.

  1 hotel room with shared bathroom next to the lake by the garden area / when our accommodation is full you will stay at a different private room (not always) In other days you will stay at our family home.

  Santa Cruz is a very remote town in lake Atitlan, and the only way to get here is by boat. On your free days you can travel to nearby towns, it is very easy to be around. Explore the community, hike, swim and much more.
