  Beschreibung

  This is a living collective, a community where we tend to create an alternative from the capitalist system. We live in a small farm, close to the city, the sea and the forest. We define this space as “Rurban” [rural+urban].
  We are around 7 habitants, including one small kid. We share the outside space with a dog and inside space with 2 cats.
  This collective is based on self-management and all of us take care for every aspect of the place and the people. We use to take decisions horizontally, during weekly meetings.
  Together, we maintain a garden, an orchard, workshops, tools, bicycles and other bikonstructions, a brewery, different eco-construction experimentations, communal house and kitchen, we like to spend time together, play boardgames or share conversation at the evenings.
  We organize our week together. We have a gardening day and a collective work day every week, we also define turns to cook (we share vegetarian lunches and diners), etc. During the rest of the time, we work on constructions or other personal or collective projects.
  We share knowledge and experiment with DIY practices, while we are using material in a creative way aiming to be more sustainable and less consumerist.
  It is open for friends, activists and comrades, and anyone that aligns with our common principles. We function by donations and involvement in the house activities.
  This is how we create together a good quality of life, you can not pay for it, neither consume it

  Isto é um coletivo de habitação em comunidade, tentando criar uma alternativa fora do sistema capitalista. Vivemos numa pequena quinta, perto da cidade, do mar e da floresta. Definimos este espaço como “Rurbano” [rural + urbano].
  Somos cerca de 7 pessoas incluido uma criança pequena. Compartimos o espaço exterior com uma cadela e interior com 2 gatos.
  Este coletivo tem como base a autogestão, todas nós cuidamos de cada aspecto do lugar e das pessoas. Temos a prática de tomar as decisões horizontalmente e com acordos comuns em reuniões semanais.
  Juntos mantemos uma horta e um pomar, oficina(s), ferramentas, bicicletas e outras biciconstruções, uma cervejaria, varios experimentos em eco-construções, uma casa e cozinha comuns. Gostamos de partilhar tempo juntos, fazer jogos de tabuleiro ou conversar à noite.
  A nossa semana é organizada em conjunto. Cada semana trabalhamos um dia juntos na horta e temos um dia para trabalho comum, definimos turnos de cozinha (partilhamos almoços e jantares vegetarianos), etc. No tempo restante, avançamos construções e outros projectos pessoais ou coletivos.
  Gostamos de partilhar conhecimentos e experimentar com práticas de “Faça você mesmo”(DIY), enquanto usamos materiais de uma forma criativa apontando a ser mais sustentáveis e menos consumistas.
  Está aberto para amigas, ativistas e camaradas, e para quem se alinhe com os nossos princípios comuns. Fonctionamos por donativos e envolvimento nas actividades da casa.
  Assim é como criamos juntas uma boa qualidade de vida, que não podes pagar por ela nem consumi-la. Trabalha menos, faz mais! :)

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Even though some of us are foreigners, we are trying to use Portuguese as our main language (but we are all able to understand and speak english). This is the perfect place to learn and practice your portuguese skills ! A traveler would also discover the community life, learn about self-sufficiency, non-hierarchical/horizontal organization, and alternative life.. And of course, learn about gardening, eco-building, vegetarian cooking, and DIY.
  
  Apesar de algumas de nos sermos estrangeiros, tentamos falar português entre nos e com os vizinhos. entao é o lugar perfeito para aprender ou praticar. Um viajante vai descobrir a vida em comunidade, e aprender sobre autogestao, organizaçao horizontale e vida alternativa. Aprender sobre a horta, construçoes, receitas culinarias e tecnicas DIY.

  Arbeit

  Mainly help with gardening, land maintenance and eco-construction, and of course participation to the house life (cooking, cleaning, and simply sharing time with the community). The tasks will also depend of the time of the year and the projects in progress.
  
  Principalemente ajuda na horta e no terreno, ou nas construçoes de madeira ou de barro, enquanto participaçao a vida da casa (cozinha, limpeza et partilha de tempos colectivos). Depende das epoqua do ano e dos projectos em andamento.

  Unterkunft

  We have eventualy a guest room inside the common house, and camping spaces depending on the time of the year. It is also possible for you to settle your campervan on the land (limited space). We have a hot shower at our disposal and compost toilets. We don't smoke inside the common house, and our friends dogs are not allowed inside.
  
  Temos um quarto de visitas na casa comum, e muito espaço para acampar... depende da estaçao do ano. E tambem possivel trazer carinha no tereno (espaço limitado). Temos um chuveiro de agua quente e usamos casa de banho de composto (secos). Não fumamos a dentro das casas, e não deixamos entrar nossos amigos cães.

  Was noch ...

  It's easy to spend time , enjoying the chill life in contact with nature, but you can also visit the surroundings. We are at 45min by train from Porto city, and 10min by bike from the beaches of Espinho and Silvalde that are famous for surf. Every Monday there is a market in Espinho. Shops, library, and all facilities are accessible within walking distance.
  
  Apenas de curtir da vida, podem visitar os arredores. Estamos à 45 minutas da cidade do Porto com o comboio, e à 10 minutas de bicicleta das praias de Espinho / Silvalde, que é conhecida para o surf. Cada segunda-feira tem uma grande feira em Espinho. Lojas, biblioteca, e todas instalaçoes são accessiveis à pé.

  Caes não pode entrar na casa comum, mas são bemvindos no espaço exterior com a condiçao de se comportar bem com pessoas, espaços(hortas) e outros animais. --- Dogs can not enter inside the common house, but they are welcome outside if they behave well with other dogs, cats, children and respect the garden.
