Beschreibung
We are a popular backpacker hostel located approximately 15KM from Munnar, in the South Indian state of Kerala. Our hostel is located amidst hills, lakes and whole lot of greenery and the closest town is 2KM away. We are looking for volunteers who can help in running our property.
We opened around the last week of October '19 and have been having a dream run so far. With many bookings coming in, we are looking for volunteers who can help with the reception, guest relations, art work and gardening/landscaping work as well. In the first month of operations, we had already hosted around 600+ guests and have also had 13 volunteers join us. If you are somebody who's looking for some peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of cities, do consider joining us. -

Travelers will get to meet & interact with guests from around the world and also get to experience South Indian food and culture. Munnar is situated at about 5000ft above sea level, so it enjoys a mild climate and is hence perfect for hiking

Arbeit
We have 3 positions open.
1) Guest Relations: This position requires handling guest queries on what to do in Munnar, help with planning their trips, some operational tasks and generally fostering a lively environment in the hostel. We will train you on location specifics.
2) Artist: Looking for an artist to do some murals on our walls - Few spaces available - around the reception and behind the building.
3) Gardening: Looking for somebody who can help out in the garden - deweeding, maintaining pathways, growing some basic vegetables
We require around 5 hours of work to be put in per day, in exchange for a bed and all basic Indian meals. -

Munnar is known for its beautiful rolling tea estates, hikes and wildlife. You can also experience and learn cultural performances like Kathakali and Kalari.
Volunteers can also do short trips to Mysore, Varkala, Alleppey, Kochi, Thekkady and Kodaikanal -
