  Beschreibung

  Learn about boat life & maintenance and, if you like, practice a language (German, English) additionally. Live on the sailing boat, be part of a holistic lifestyle, where work meets living and spare time. Therefore it is a marketing job: Movie cutting, picture editing, social media feeding. We can learn and profit from each other.
  
  The feedbacks we got so far refer to the building process of our ship. This is coming to an end. You will profit from the hard work your colleagues had already done. Anyway: The job is therefore very different now.
  
  We need just help, it is our own private boat.
  We are very open for chats & discussions together. We are more productive in a team and would welcome to have open-minded people, who would like to learn many different things and about people and viewpoints, helping us.
  
  We (Ralf & Julia) are an Austrian-Swiss couple in our end-fourties, mid-fifties, who are are seeking for a simpler lifestyle.
  Julia is a language teacher and author, who works online. She would appreciate your help on the computer, as writing is very time consuming. Ideally you can bring your own computer and work with it. Standard programs and apps are fine, of course.
  Ralf has an education as boat builder and likes to coach and supervise. He is very precise in his job and therefore you can really profit from asking him about boat-building. He likes to show things to people a lot.

  Additional food information: Very flexible and open. Mostly we prepare and have dinner together. You take whatever you want from the fridge. We provide shopping and can adapt. There is always enough. We would appreciate some flexibility though: E. g.: Have the same brands of foods or coffee as we do. Additionally: We work hard on not wasting foods, which involves your cooperation.
  
  We are very flexible and adapt, would like you to do the same and adapt to our way of living too. One of our wishes is to solve misunderstandings & wishes with communication. Feel free to profit from our experiences and take your new experiences as coaching & learning. Living tightly on small space available can be quite demanding.
  Please do not confuse that with a hotel, or a luxurious yacht with servants. There is no butler, or hired chef either. Contributing to keeping the facilities, which we share, clean, is part of your spare time.

  Learn about life on a sailing ship and, if you like, boat renovation, practice a language (English, German) additionally. Live on the sailing ship, which needs to be maintenanced constantly.
  Learn about how to live with more people --> social skills.
  Learn flexibility and how to get things done.
  Become even more open minded by experiencing alternative life-styles.
  If you are interested: Additionally learn from our experiences in many different jobs and coutries, about alternative living.
  Excursions, your initiative very welcome, in the surroundings on the weekend, relaxing and swimming in the afternoon in summer on deck, or the beach.

  I am a language professional. I am happy to help, yet our main team work will be as described above. Your initiative, if you would like to learn a language is necessary. You can learn, I am very happy to provide help, yet I am not teaching during the time we work on our goals.

  Unterkunft

  On the sailing ship; with the hosts; in your own cabin, though. It is a ship, so things work a bit different: The showers and toilets are combined on the ship, we have to save water too.
  The hygiene standards on a ship are a little higher (reason: salt, humidity are very destructive, bugs are more difficult to avoid), therefore you are not allowed to enter your cabin unwashed, or full of salt from the ocean. No dishes or foods are allowed in the cabin either.
  
  Additional food information: Very flexible and open. Mostly we eat dinner together. We provide shopping and are flexible. There is always enough. We would appreciate some flexibility though: E. g.: Have the same brands of foods or coffee as we do. Additionally: We work hard on not wasting foods, which involves your cooperation.
  Our personal favourites are healthy and fresh options, we are flexible and happy to adapt to vegetarians, meat-eaters, vegans.
