Sea sport centre. Looking for couple long term stay, 1.april-15.september.
Are you a couple dreaming to work with tourists, experience with maintainance, building, construction, painting, cleaning apartments, keeping it tidy/sorting, kayaks/ SUP, gardening? We are a seasport centre & fishing camp in north of Norway. Beautiful location middle between the city of Bodø and Lofoten islands. Small village Nordskot in Steigen.
We have for rent 30 beds in 5 different sea cabins & apartments.
9 boats for sea-fishing for rent plus kayaks & Sup (paddleboards), canoe, cycles and sauna.
We also run a Rib-charter boat.
The guests have their own kitchen and we do not have restaurant.
Most guests come in groups from 2-18 people and stay for 7-10 days.
We need help in daily business like check-in, check-out incl. boat rental and fishing trip to the guests, cleaning apartments after check out, maintainance, gardening, painting etc. Boat driving and carpenter skills is an advantage.
Need to speak english. Speaking German is nice but not abolutely needed.
Help up to 25 hours a week each person. Must be flexible to hours but plan can be made each month. Means possible with days off for own trips and joy.
The help we looking for may be best for a couple living together. You will have your own small apartment with bedroom, kitchen/living area and bathroom. Apartment located 700 meters (5-10 min. walk) from sea sport centre/Marina.
Fantastic area if you love nature, fishing, boating, sea, hiking, mountains, climbing etc.
Main season march-sept but also activity rest of year. Other tasks/maintenence needed all year.
No pets/animals.

Learn how a seasport centre works. Enjoy life close to the sea. Fishing, boating and meet a lot of enthusiastic fishing guests. Learn to be a good sport-fisher if you are not an expert already.
And enjoy the fantastic northern surroundings. This is a nice area if you like hiking in the mountains.
Main season thera are many people around and off-seson Nordskot is a small quiet village. We have a local shop and daily ferrry Bodø-Lofoten stops here.

Travelling here is easiest by ferry from Bodø. Only 1,5 hrs trip.
By car 220 km from Bodø. About 3 hrs.
Nordskot is a small village with only 80 people living her year roud. In summertime several hundreds extra people arrives.
There is a local shop here and ferry stops 2 times a day. 3 restaurants on islands near by.
Nordskot is most about nature and wildlife/sea/fishing/hiking. We have beautiful mountains and an cave. No urban life here, but Leinesfjord 20 km from here have cafe, 1 big shop, one restaurant, one shop for clothes, gym, hairdresser, and local bank. In Steigen its also amazing mountain around and two big beaches Bøsand and Brennviksand.

We stayed in a great apartment and mostly took care of ourselves (food shopping and cooking). We also managed our own time and workload which consisted of painting, tree clearing, cleaning tourist apartments and helping with basecamp renovation.
