  Beschreibung

  We are Nathalie and Stephane, we live in Lapland in the little village of Vanttauskoski, at 60 km from Rovaniemi. We are in the country, on the edge of the river and forest. We have 30 hectare of forest and fields ; we have too some chickens, 2 sheeps, huskies, bees, and strawberries fields. The first neighbours live at 1 km from up ; here, we doesn't have bus or market (the first market or bus is at 8 km). You will be accommodated in a small chalet of 25 m2, at the edge of the river; there is electricity but no running water. There is a sauna at your disposal and a compost toilet. The chalet is pleasant for 2 people (one bedroom and a mezzanine).

  We have huskies, if interested in learning more about dogs, we do dog sledding in the winter. There are many national parks around to discover in summer, the fauna and flora is very rich for nature lovers.

  Arbeit

  -We clean the forest every year, we have a 4 km path in the heart of the forest. We have to evacuate the water along the road (we have a small machine) in order to be able to walk there in the summer.
  -Gather and cut wood for the winter.
  -Construction of a bridge over the river (planned).
  -Clean the edge of the river to make it a pleasant place to live (brush cutter, bring in sand, cut some trees...)
