  We are a family of four living in Summerland, in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. Summers here are warm, sunny, and perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The area is known for its orchards, vineyards, and numerous wineries offering tours and tastings.
  
  You’ll find many stunning lakes within biking distance, along with a wide variety of hiking trails. Nearby cities host music festivals, offer gorgeous beaches, world-class climbing, and plenty of other recreational activities.
  
  Our home is centrally located, just 5 minutes walk from the beach and about 20 min walk to downtown.
  
  If you love nature, outdoor adventure, and exploring a truly picturesque part of the world, the Okanagan—and especially Kelowna and Summerland—are wonderful places to visit, work, and enjoy life. Many people come here to relax, recharge, or even retire.

  Arbeit

  We are currently in our final stages of finishing renovating the house we live in and could really use an extra pair of hands. We are looking for someone who can lend a hand and assist with our renovations, while also having the opportunity to discover the Canadian culture and the beautiful British Columbia. We are seeking a hands-on, fairly independent individual who is comfortable helping with simple finishing tasks and other small projects.
  
  We only have space for one helper, and we’re flexible with hours. If you want to do your hours over fewer days so you have more time to explore, that’s perfectly fine. We just ask that you’re self-motivated, easygoing, respectful, and able to do tasks on your own when needed. We really appreciate people with a bit of life or household experience, and we prefer non-smokers. We play guitar and ukulele, we love singing and enjoy sharing the joy of jamming with some friends at the beach in the evening. We will be delighted to share these great moments with you! If you play guitar, we have enough guitars at home that you can use while you are staying with us. If you don't play and want to learn, we will teach you!
  
  You’ll have your own private room in our home, and we provide all the food. You’re welcome to cook for yourself or join us for meals—usually dinner. We love cooking and discovering different dishes from various countries. You are welcome to cook and teach us your favourite recipes from your country. We really enjoy getting to know our helpers, learning about where they come from, and creating a relaxed, friendly home together.
