Wolfgang is the loveliest dude in Bavaria. He is creative in every possible way, in his way of being, making art, and cooking food - a big inspiration! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be immersed in his world and be surprised every day.
Wolfgang hosted us wonderfully. The two houses he renovated himself are impressive and unique,

We had everything we needed. (The internet wasn’t very stable, which was a bit challenging for us as digital nomads, but we managed).
Wolfgang cooks healthy and delicious food with a personal and unique touch. It was fun talking to him about food, nutrition, and his overall lifestyle, which is focused on health, slow living, movement, and creative activities both inside and outside the house.
Since we are video creators, we offered to make videos for him, and so we did. The time spent together was very enriching for both sides. We learned a lot from him. He is a wise and impressive person with an inspiring life experience and many unique ideas. Every conversation with him could lead to puns and word games, behind which lie profound truths. And he is very, very funny. We laughed a lot because Wolfgang has a wonderful sense of humor, which added a vibrant tone of joy to our entire stay.
Initially, we planned to stay for two weeks, but as the end approached, we felt there was still much to discover and experience, so we decided to extend our stay. In the end, we spent almost two incredible months there, during which we created videos, had morning philosophical (spiel-osophical) conversations, watched films, danced, improvised music, and explored the surroundings (the unique crater of Donau-Ries and the surrounding forests and meadows).
We didn’t count our work hours. Since we enjoyed our time together, and because the work was creative and the leisure was productive, the line between work and leisure became blurred. The schedule was very free and without a pre-planned structure. This was pleasant in many ways because it allowed us a lot of freedom, we could communicate and Wolfgang was very flexible and attentive to our needs. We also learned a lot from him about spontaneity, being present in the moment, and responding to what is happening now. On the other hand, after more than a month, it became a bit challenging not having a plan ahead, and we had discussions about the need for structure versus spontaneity. Although these conversations were sometimes difficult, they were also very bonding and meaningful.
In the end, we left with the feeling that we have a friend for life, and with great anticipation to return, meet, and create together again. Anyone who wants to visit the "Think Mill" is in for a holistic and rewarding experience. We recommend artists in practice and in heart to go and explore the fantastic playground he created there.
Thank you Wolfgang for every thing,
From Lyri and Yuval.

Thank you Wolfgang and Claudia for your availability and kindness! I stayed there one month and it was such an inspirational, creative and funny time. The house is full of interesting wood handcrafted items, riddles and wordplays..after the whole month I was still finding myself discovering hidden cool objects around the house:) During the stay,

It was a true pleasure meeting them. It was the first time that I was spending the Christmas holidays in another family and I had such a great time playing with the kids and enjoying the company.
Claudia cooks deliciously, I am still open-eye dreaming sometime about her amazing pumpkin soup.. Wolfgang is very funny, entertaining and creative person. Conversating with him is very inspiring and the jam session along with Anders and music creation in the evenings were unforgettable.
The work was interesting and exactly what I was looking for, I mostly helped Wolfgang renovating parts of the house and I believe I learned a lot about masonry, building materials, wood and construction in general. If I get the chance it would definitely be a pleasure to come back to visit them.

We were astonishing for all the beautiful and creative art we saw in their house!
We mainly help them with the fire wood, renovation and painting of the seminar house but luckily we were able to help him a bit in his work place and that was our favourite part, we could created some pieces with his knowledge and support.
Claudia cooked delicious
… read more food and bread and she was happy to teache us how to made it too.
In the free time we share walks, bike rides and visit some attractions in the area with Wolfgang.
If we have the chance we would like to go back and help them more with the wood art!
Thank you Claudia and Wolfgang for hosting us and good luck we all the proyects.Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

Thank you Alejandra and Mattis, with your cosmopolitan attitude you have brought new drive to our little oasis. The wood for the winter is piled up and the facade of the seminar house shines in fresh white. Your keen interest in our arts has brought us closer to the vision of passing on our skills to young people. We are looking forward to

We got along great right from the start. Shai is really friendly, sociable and honest.
