  Hello!
  
  We are Enes and Sinem, a family of four living in a peaceful green area of Yalova, Türkiye. We are both science teachers and live with our two children, Bala (8) and Alp (5).
  
  We enjoy cycling, gardening, nature, technology, creative projects and learning new things. Our home has a large garden and is close to the forest, while Yalova city centre is still easy to reach.
  
  After several wonderful experiences hosting Workawayers, our main goal now is to learn and practise German as a family.
  
  We would especially love to host someone who speaks German fluently and enjoys spending time with children. You do not need to be a teacher. We prefer natural language learning: playing games, reading stories, listening to songs, cooking together, going for a walk or simply using German during everyday family life.
  
  Sinem and I would also love opportunities for relaxed German conversation. We are beginners, so patience and a sense of humour are definitely welcome!
  
  In return, we would be happy to share our daily life, Turkish culture, traditional home-cooked food and our interests with you. You will have your own private room and plenty of free time to explore the area.
  
  We are looking for someone who wants to become part of family life for a while rather than simply complete a list of tasks.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We see Workaway mainly as a cultural exchange rather than simply an exchange of help for accommodation.
  
  As a Turkish family, we would be happy to share our daily life, traditions, food and local culture with you. You can experience everyday family life in Türkiye, taste home-cooked Turkish food and learn more about our customs and way of life.
  
  We are both science teachers, so education, science, technology and creative projects are an important part of our family life. If you are interested, we can share our experiences in these areas, and you may also have the chance to learn a little about the Turkish education system.
  
  We enjoy gardening, cycling, nature, 3D printing and small creative projects, so there are many things we can explore and learn together.
  
  Our current goal as a family is to learn German. We would especially enjoy hosting someone who speaks German fluently and is happy to use it naturally during everyday activities and conversations.
  
  In return, we can help you practise Turkish and discover Yalova and Turkish culture from a local family's perspective.

  Arbeit

  Our main expectation is that our guest spends meaningful and natural time with our children, Bala and Alp, on a daily basis.
  
  We would especially like them to have opportunities to practise German or English. This does not need to be in the form of formal lessons. Simply speaking German or English while playing games, reading books, drawing, going for walks, preparing food or having everyday conversations would be very valuable for us.
  
  We would also appreciate some support with the children's school homework when needed. The aim is not to do their homework for them, but to study together, encourage them and help when they do not understand something.
  
  Bala and Alp are also taking piano lessons. If our guest has any knowledge or experience with piano or music, we would be very happy if they shared it with the children. This is a bonus, not a requirement.
  
  In general, spending time with the children is important to us: playing, talking, reading, doing creative activities and simply sharing everyday life together. We want this time to feel natural, enjoyable and relaxed.
  
  We may also ask for some light help with everyday family life, such as preparing meals together, setting or clearing the table, tidying shared areas or helping with small jobs in the garden.
  
  We do not expect heavy cleaning, professional childcare or constant housework.
  
  Usually, around 4 hours of help per day from Monday to Friday is enough for us. Weekends are free. We are flexible with the daily routine and can organise it together depending on the children's school schedule and our guest's plans.
  
  For us, the most important thing is not simply receiving help, but giving our children the chance to build a natural connection with someone from another culture, hear and use German or English in everyday life, and enjoy spending time together.

  You will have your own private room in our family home with a comfortable double sofa bed.
  
  The bathroom and kitchen are shared with us.
  
  Our home is in a quiet and green area close to nature, while Yalova city centre is around 20 minutes away by minibus.
  
  Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Our children usually go to bed around 9 PM, so we prefer to keep the house relatively quiet afterwards.
  
  You will be welcome to use the shared living areas, kitchen and garden, and we want you to feel comfortable and at home during your stay.

  During your time off, there are plenty of interesting places to explore nearby.
  
  Yalova is a small coastal city surrounded by nature, with walking routes, waterfalls, forests and the famous thermal springs. The thermal area is around 15 minutes from our home by car.
  
  Istanbul and Bursa are also easy to visit during your free days. Both cities offer many cultural, historical and sightseeing opportunities.
  
  Public transportation from our home is convenient. Minibuses pass very close to our house regularly, and it takes around 20 minutes to reach Yalova city centre.
  
  Our home is in a peaceful and green area, so you can enjoy both nature and easy access to the city.

  We are always happy to help our guests with transportation, local recommendations and ideas for exploring Yalova and the surrounding region.
