MUST LOVE DOGS!
Hello. We are a family of 3, with 3 small doggies living on 5 acres on the Sunshine Coast. We love the outdoors. We live close to the water and near many hiking trails. We're in Sechelt and 8 minutes drive from the centre of town.
We hope to meet wonderful guests from all over the world. While here, we would appreciate some help with yard work and maintenance around the property, some regular house cleaning, organizing, etc. Some doggie-sitting/house-sitting might be needed.
We love our doggies (2x 8lb pups (Morkie and Chihuahua and a 20 lb terrier mix) and hope you would love them too! Dogs are very intuitive so they can tell if someone is just pretending, or even if the people are trustworthy. So you must truly like animals because pretending is not going to work. hahaha!
We would prefer non-smokers; You will have flexible schedule; I'm honestly not the greatest cook so anyone who can be independent and make their own meals most days would be great;
We have a paddleboard you could use 5 mins walk down the hill to the beach and a great ebike you could borrow to explore the area;
We have a large custom built modern house ; You will have a private bedroom and access to your own bathroom; If you love to cook, our beautiful large kitchen is available for your use.
We prefer to start with 2 weeks initially to ensure we are a great fit together. We have extended this period with all our guests so far, but we want to ensure that the experience and relationship work (both ways) before committing to a longer visit.

The Sunshine Coast is beautiful; So many outdoor activities like hiking trails, water access, mountain biking, etc; It is also a smaller rural community, and you would be welcomed by friendly small town residents; a weekly farm market on Saturdays in the summer; and many festivals going on in the summer. Our home is comfortable, and quiet. We are a social family and love having dinners and games nights with friends and also going to social gatherings. Workawayers will have the benefit of a safe, loving environment and the freedom to explore nature that is all around us.
Arbeit
With spring comes blooming flowers, birds chirping, beautiful baby animals being born. The Sunshine Coast will wake up to its full beauty! There will yard maintenance needed from mowing the grass and weeding and using the weeder to cut down growing bushes like blackberries, etc. Some property maintenance , small DIY projects; some minor tasks in and around the house; some pet/house sitting; help with cleaning our house regularly and cooking some meals if you like to cook; help with packing and organizing the house; I love to entertain so you'll meet some of my wonderful friends. We also love playing board and card games . Other than that, it'll be very chill here so hopefully you like to keep busy on your own at times or just relax with a book and hot cocoa. The forest trails ups the hill is beautiful and the beach access is only 2 minutes walk down the hill.

Private bedroom and access bathroom; access to a beautiful, large kitchen; modern house with a view of the ocean and mountains.
I've mostly cooked dinners for workaways and shared some lunch. Breakfast will mostly be up to the workaways as we are not regular breakfast eaters.

if you love the outdoors, here is where you want to be; we are also only 40 minutes away by ferry to larger Vancouver; it's a great day trip if you want to get away to the bigger city atmosphere.

Finnegan Boots aka "Finn" (6 Jahren)
The youngest of the 3 dogs, Finnegan is a Diva; Very territorial and demanding in the house, but super chill and great on a leash outside the house; He is a picky eater, only eating one specific food. Doesn't even like treats. He's super cute but not the most affectionate. Very indifferent to people. Loves his older sisters but annoys the heck out of them.
Trixie (14 Jahren)
This 20 pound 13 year old is the sweetest girl. Dont tell the other two dogs, but she's my favorite! She's got heart issues but responding well to medications. She's slower now but still loves her treats and her daily walks.
Chai (16 Jahren)
Chai is a 15 year old Chihuahua. She is the BOSS. The other two dogs dont mess with her. Lol. Although she is getting old, she is in great shape (maybe a little deaf now) but she loves her cuddles and demands attention from her people. She is definitely everyone's favorite
