Beschreibung
We are Emma and Sven with our kids Simon born 2012 and Dennis born 2016. We are an active and efficient family that doesn't like to sit still.
Here we live the year around. Emma runs a raspberrie farm in the summer season, works as a yoga instructor and is part time firefighter. Sven always have many projekts though all the buildings are very old. We are booth very active and we do some kind of training every day, (running, swimming our cykling)!
We have a few hens and two cats. But they are the only animals on the farm.
We live at an and old farm, where Sven has built the houses that we live in.
Please write an application directed to us after you have read the information. The bulk mail applications is not something we like.
You must have a valid visa for a stay in Sweden since we cannot assist you in getting one.

You will learn about Sweden and Swedish country living and we hope to learn about you, where you come from and your culture. You will learn about modern raspberrie farming.
We are both very driven and have had several businesses before and got lots of experience to share. And we love sports!

Arbeit
We follow Workaway rules and expect 5 hours, 5 days a week.
We seek people with experience. If you have a trade thats a big plus.
We work moostly on the field, start around 9 o'clock in the morning and work until 3. That is when our kids are at school.
Get rid of weeds in the rasberry farm and our garden, (our privat garden is 1000 square meters).
General maintenance, our house is 400 square meter big, then we have an old stable and an old ban.
Kids care.
Cleaning the house.
Cooking, we cook dinner together, breakfast and sometimes lunch you eat on your own.
The ideal volunteers would be open-minded, self-motivated, tidy, mature, independent and at least 20 years or older.

Unterkunft
If you come when its off season, the accommodation is a new built spacious two floor apartment, with modern bathroom, underfloor heating and small kitchen. One double bed an one 160 cm bed. The flat is all yours when you are here.
If you come in season the appartment is rented out and you got your own room and bathroom that we have made out in the old stable.
If you like you can bring bedlinnen, towels and such. Otherwise we will provide that.
We have small kids and the limited time we have with them after school before bed is sacred. Sometimes we spend time together after work but don't depend on it. We do go together all of us on some activities and try to show the surrounding areas and here is bicycles for your use.
We have free internet.
We are conscious eaters and mostly eat vegetarian food but meat from time to time.
Sometimes we will eat together but be prepared to cook for yourself most of the times. You will always have breakfast for yourselves. We will keep the pantry filled with basic stock. We cannot provide a full vegan diet so that extra you have to provide yourself. Also we don't provide meat for your own meals.
Most important is to bring good working clothes and shoes.

The nearest bus stop is Grevie kyrka and its 2 km away, the nearest train station is Förslöv station, 4 km away.
Båstad is 12 km away, Ängelholm 23 km and Helsingborg 47 km.

It's a really nice family healthy and sporty. The job was varied and interesting.
I recommend them and I wish them all the best...
They worked hard on the field during the day and in the evening they cooked lovely dishes and cakes!
The where lots of fun for our kids, and they went along with us to the swimming pool a few times.

Her skills in the kitchen was a bit limited though.
We had a great time staying a week at Emma and Sven's.
This was our first work away experience and it couldn't have been better than this week.
We helped in the greenhouse, on the blueberry field and with some renovating tasks. This was physically demanding work but it was definetly worth the effort.
