  Welcome to sunny Wallis in the south of Switzerland.
  We are a couple - Roger and Henriëtte - that like traveling ourselves as well.
  We run a small guesthouse with some rooms, shared bathrooms , a communal kitchen, and a beautiful garden. Our guesthouse is located in sunny Wallis, ca. 45 minutes with public transport from Zermatt, Saas-Fee or e.g. the Aletsch Glacier (World Heritage), offering easy access to the mountains and many attractions in Switzerland. Ideally if you like hiking or biking.
  
  We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated person to join us for at least one week.
  
  What we offer:

  As a guest in our guesthouse, you will have the chance to experience everyday life in Switzerland and learn about Swiss culture, traditions and local customs. In our province, Wallis, there is a rich Swiss culture. Depending on the time you visit us, there will be music events, wine tasting, organised walks or bike trips. We are living in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ideally for walks, bike biking, or skiing. The Arzt is only one hour away from us.
  We enjoy meeting people from different countries and hearing their travel experiences. We are always happy to share recommendations about the region, hiking routes, etc.
  Furthermore, the guests in the guesthouse come from many different parts of the world. Which makes it easy to meet other international travelers.
  Depending on your interest, we are happy to accompany you on a walk in the area.

  Arbeit

  We ask for approximately 4 hours of help per day, 5 days per week.
  The help is generally needed for the house, the garden and common areas, not for the guesthouse (since we have staff for the guest house).
  
  Tasks may include:
  - Gardening and outdoor maintenance
  - Light housekeeping and helping keep common areas tidy
  - Small painting or maintenance projects
  - Organizing storage areas
  - General assistance
  
  No special qualifications are required. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help more than previous experience.
  
  We are looking for you:
  - At least 20 years old
  - Comfortable working independently
  - Able to communicate in English, German, Dutch or French

  Unterkunft

  You will be staying in a private room, with shared bathroom.
  
  We will provide a kitchen to the Workawayers to cook for themselves. In this kitchen they will find an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, induction, pans, pots, cuttlery, etc. Furthermore we have a bbq outside for the Workawayer to use as well. We will provide a stipend to the Workawayer for all days (also for the 2 days the Workawayer is not helping out).
  In the weekend we will also share some meals with the Workawayer. Have a joint BBQ, etc.

  There is a bus stop opposite our house. We would also offer free parking in case you would be coming with a car or bicycle.
