  My name is Lucía, and I live with my daughters Vera (11) and Myrna (7) on a rural property in southern Spain. We're just a few minutes from Vejer de la Frontera and Conil de la Frontera, two white villages in the province of Cádiz. From our house, perched on a hill, we enjoy a different sunset over the Atlantic Ocean every evening. We welcome help with this paradise. We value peace and quiet and good company, and we look forward to meeting you! We speak Spanish, English and German and the global lenguage of music.
  
  Soy Lucía y vivo con mis hijas Vera (11) y Myrna (7) en una finca rural en el sur de España. Estamos a pocos minutos de Vejer de la Frontera y Conil de la Frontera, dos pueblos blancos de la provincia de Cádiz. Desde nuestra casa, situada sobre una colina, vemos cada tarde una puesta de sol diferente sobre el Océano Atlántico. Necesitamos ayuda para rehabilitar este paraíso.
  Valoramos la tranquilidad y la buena compañía y estamos deseando conocerte! Hablamos español, inglés, alemán y el idioma global de la música.

  Arbeit

  We are rehabilitating this property, its buildings, and outdoor spaces, with the utmost respect for the surrounding ecosystem.
  The help on this project includes the rehabilitation of a house built with natural materials (wood, clay, straw), the creation of a greywater treatment system using plant filters and a pond, and the implementation of an irrigation and fertilization system using blackwater processed by earthworms. Several local professionals are working on the project (builders, carpenter, gardener, etc.). The help welcome from Workaway volunteers will vary and depend on the stage of the project. It may include light gardening, cleaning, painting, etc. Volunteers will always do tasks alongside the team for a maximum of 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
  
  Estamos rehabilitando esta finca, sus construcciones y espacios exteriores, desde el mayor respeto con el ecosistema que nos rodea.
  Entre los trabajos de este proyecto se encuentran la rehabilitación de una casa construida con materiales de origen natural (madera, barro, paja), la creación de un sistema de eliminación de aguas grises con filtros vegetales y un estanque o la implantación de un sistema de riego y abono a partir de aguas negras procesadas por lombrices. En el proyecto trabajan varios profesionales locales (constructores, carpintero, jardinero...). La ayuda requerida de los workawayers será variada y dependerá del momento del proyecto. Puede incluir jardinería, limpieza, pintura... Los voluntarios siempre trabajarán junto con el equipo un máximo de 4-5 horas al día, 5 días a la semana.

  Unterkunft

  The available accommodation for the workawayers is in a separate building. It has a bedroom, a terrace, a large living room, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and plenty of outside space.
  I could cook lunch and share my family's meal with the workawayers. They can prepare the rest of their meals in their kitchen, and I could provide some ingredients.
  
  El alojamiento disponible es en un edificio independiente para los workawayers. Cuenta con una habitación con camas, una terraza, una gran sala de estar, cuarto de baño con ducha, cocina y un montón de espacio exterior.
  Yo podría cocinar a mediodía y compartir la comida de mi familia con los workawayers. El resto de las comidas del día las pueden preparar ellos en su cocina y yo podría proporcionar algunos productos.

  We are close to the sea and surrounded by nature. Walks in the woods or along the beach, surfing, and climbing are some of the activities available in this area. The neighboring towns offer some cultural activities, depending on the season: theater, concerts, circus performances, dance shows, etc. We live in a rural area with no services or public transport. The nearest shop is about a half-hour walk away. To get to any of the nearby towns, you need your own vehicle. I can help with my car.
  
  Estamos cerca del mar y rodeados de naturaleza. Los paseos por el bosque o la playa, el surf o la escalada son algunas actividades posibles en esta zona. En los pueblos vecinos hay cierta oferta cultural, dependiendo de la temporada :teatros, conciertos, espectáculos de circo, danza...
  Vivimos en una zona rural que no cuenta con servicios ni trasporte público. La tienda más cercana está a una media hora caminando. Para ir a cualquiera de los pueblos cercanos hay que usar vehículo propio. Yo puedo ayudar con el trasporte en mi coche.

  La finca no está delimitada por muros ni cercas, es un espacio abierto a la naturaleza y pasa una carretera por al lado. Si la mascota tiene tendencia a alejarse sola, no es un espacio recomendable. Con nosotras viven un perro grande, dos gatos y muchas gallinas que están sueltas por la finca. The property isn't enclosed by walls or fences; it's an open space surrounded by nature, and a road runs alongside it. If your pet tends to wander off on its own, this isn't a suitable place. We have a large dog, two cats, and many chickens that roam freely around the property.
