  Help us creating our dream of an ecological permaculture vegetable market / garden and food forest in the south of the beautiful island, Tenerife, Spain. I prefer couples they really want to learn permaculture! I can teach you how to make and mantain a garden.
  "Us" that's Andre (46) and the 11 years old twins, Bosse and Pepe. I've always dreamt of a permaculture finca, but I was busy working as a jewelry designer and producer, without feeling any meaning in it anymore. In September we started constructing and preparing the vegetable market / garden.
  Since November we are harvesting and selling are first produce! We provide private clients, restaurants and yoga retreats. Mainly we grow salad, spinach and a lot of other greens. So far we have 210 vegetable beds. We also want to produce microgreens and fruits.

  Was ist das?

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  You can learn how to change an arid desert into a lush, fertile green vegetable and fruit garden.
  You don't have to be vaccinated to come and help on our finca.

• 

  Arbeit

  At the moment we need help in maintaining the vegetable garden, implementing and maintaining food forests, building simple structures with wood and recycled materials, harvesting herbs, vegetables, fruits and processing them, farming maintenance in general. We prefer a couple who really wants to learn permaculture! If you looking for a cheap holiday, don't waste your time writing me.
  No stress if you aren't experienced! We do like to welcome people who are genuinely interested in permaculture, gardening and who are willing to learn the fairly easy work. I will be happy to teach you everything you need to know!
  The finca is located in Arico (+/- 40 min drive with my van - don't worry: I'll drive!).
  From Monday to Friday we leave at about 8.30 and we work for 5 hours (according to the daily goals).

  Unterkunft

  The house is located in La Tejita and has 2 bedrooms (it might happen that you have to share your room with another workawayer). Toilet, shower (hot water), kitchen and fridge are shared. You have enough space to store your own food.
  Towels and sheets are available and you can do your laundry.
  There's a beautiful garden to chill and hang out.
  Best is: the ocean is only 200 meters from the house and the beach is very nice!
  Please bring your own hygiene products.

  Nearby it is perfect for all kinds of surfing (kite, wind, beach, ...).
  We can give you info of where to go diving, sailing, parasailing, hiking, climbing, horseback riding, ...
  Within 3km you find nice bars and restaurants.
  There is a busstop close to the house aswell, rental cars are easy to find.

  We live together with Max and Cookie (the dogs), Pelo (the guinea pig) and Puma (the cat). If your pet gets along with ours: no problem!
