  Hello! we are Tomy (33) and Cris (34), our project is developed in a beautiful environment, the Ambroz valley in the north of Extremadura, and we are developing a non-profit natural shelter project for pilgrims on the camino de santiago.
  
  We have been working on this project for almost 7 years and we already have a small house (where Tomy lives, Kris is not living in), the dry toilet , the shower, an outdoor bathtub ... We also have an orchard area and a few olive trees. But we still have many things to do to open the shelter. That's why we look for people wanting to know the environment, collaborate with our project and share good times.
  
  We prefer people who already speaks a bit of spanish

  The land is located 1 km from Segura de toro, a small town of 150 inhabitants, is of Celtic origin, in the town square is a stone statue shaped like a bull over 2500 years old; we have 2 marked hiking trails; one that guides you to the trembling chestnut trees, which are hundred-year-old trees in a fairy tale and another route that takes you to Celtic wine presses, traces of our remotest past. At 12 km we have Hervás, famous for its Jewish quarter, this is a larger town with more atmosphere, shops, bars ...

  Hola! Somos Tomy (33) y Cris (34) , el proyecto se desarrolla en un entorno precioso, el valle del Ambroz al norte de Extremadura, y estamos desarrollando un albergue natural sin ánimo de lucro para los peregrinos del Camino de Santiago.
  
  Llevamos casi 7 años con este proyecto y ya tenemos una pequeña casita ( donde vive Tomy, Kris no esta viviendo en la finca) el baño seco , la ducha, una bañera exterior, una poza ... También tenemos una zona de huerto y unos cuantos olivos, pero aún nos quedan muchas cosas por hacer para poder abrir el albergue , es por eso que buscamos personas con ganas de conocer el entorno , colaborar con nuestro proyecto y compartir buenos momentos.

  La finca está situada a 1 km de Segura de toro, un pequeño pueblo de 150 habitantes, es de origen celta, en la plaza del pueblo se encuentra una estatua de piedra con forma de toro de más de 2500 años de antigüedad ; tenemos 2 rutas de senderismo señalizadas; una que te guía a los castaños del temblar, que son árboles centenarios en un paraje de cuento y otra ruta que te lleva a los lagares celtas, vestigios de nuestro pasado más remoto. A 12 km tenemos Hervás famoso por su barrio judío, este, es un pueblo mas grande y con más ambiente, tiendas, bares ...

  Aprender el idioma , la experiencia de vivir en un entorno natural con todo lo que ello conlleva, descubrir lugares con mucho encanto , conocer pueblos y sus gentes y compartir con nosotros nuestro amor por la naturaleza, la música y la buena comida.

  Arbeit

  The activities within the project are very varied, depending on the needs of the moment. As it can be to renovate a henhouse, maintenance of the garden and the land in general and daily tasks of the house.
  
  Upcoming projects: to build a traditional “chozo”, to install a solar system for domestic hot water and much more...

  Las actividades a desarrollar dentro del proyecto son muy variadas, en función de las necesidades del momento. Como puede ser la renovación de un gallinero, mantenimiento del huerto y de la finca en general y tareas cotidianas de la casa.
  
  Próximos proyectos: construir un chozo tradicional, instalar un sistema solar para el agua caliente doméstica y mucho más...

  Unterkunft

  At this moment it will be a tent ,we have mattress, blankets and pillows.
  Another option could be to share the small house with Tomy, using the sofa-bed in the living room area.
  We also offer the 3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. (we are omnivorous ,but we adapt)
  
  En estos momentos sería una tienda de campaña, tenemos colchones,mantas y almohadas.
  Otra opción sería compartir la casita con Tomy usando el sofá-cama de la zona salón.
  Ofrecemos también las 3 comidas, desayuno, comida y cena.( somos omnivoros pero nos adaptamos)

  Was noch ...

  Getting to the town by public transport is somewhat complicated but for neighboring towns such as Aldeanueva del Camino it will be easier to get there and it is only 5 km away.
  
  Llegar al pueblo en transporte público es algo complicado pero para los pueblos colindantes como Aldeanueva del camino te será más fácil llegar y se encuentra a tan solo 5 km.
