Beschreibung
We’re Joe and Amanda, we’re English and we’ve lived in France since 2008, after a year of travelling Europe in a bus we converted ourselves with our four amazing children.
We bought our beautiful old farmhouse in 2017 and absolutely love our life here in the mountains. Now that all our children have left home, we're looking for general help with the renovation as well as gardening, wood cutting, wood-stacking, and a bit of cleaning in exchange for communal meals and some good French living !
There's always a new project on the go and we really love the whole process of transforming our space - any help will be just that - my husband and I are doing everything ourselves (my husband is highly skilled and I am an enthusiastic assistant!)
Joe’s a great teacher and there would be possibilities to learn for those who are interested - However if a workawayer already has those skills we would be delighted to give more responsibility. -

We are happy to share our love of music and of photography - and it's a beautiful environment for artists and writers. There are great walks to be had in the forests, and we have a very special stretch of river 5 minutes walk from the house with little water falls which is perfect for a refreshing dip at the end of a hot day !
We have a gentle, fun-loving dog called Nairobi, (we think she's a Border Collie cross !), and 3 chickens. -

We are looking for an extra pair of strong hands, as the current projects are quite physical. -

Double bedroom and bathroom - shared living space. We also have a gite - so if it is free there would be the possibility for a more independent living situation.

Was noch ...
We are 4 kms from the nearest town and there is no public transport. But drivers could borrow our car from time to time - and bikes would be a real bonus ! Obviously having your own transport would be a big advantage for you !
