  We are a unique artist residency in the Indian Himalayas built on one acre of farm forest land. We welcome artists of diverse disciplines from around the world to come and be inspired by the unique setting of the Indian Himalayas, and enrich our local communities with their presence and work.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Travellers will benefit from living in nature, away from the crowds and hectic ways of the city. Additionally they can wake up to bird song and view of the majestic Indian Himalayas. They can go for long walks in the forests and nearby villages, and observe how people in rural Kumaon live. Our place also gets artists and visitors from around the world, so interaction with people from diverse backgrounds.

  Would love to have someone who is passionate about gardening. Additionally we are also looking for someone who loves to do woodwork / carpentry and other build oriented things.

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in a modest room with a small attached kitchenette and bathroom that is part of an independent house. You will be provided with simple food, and be part of our small, friendly team of staff. There is wifi connection.

  There are many beautiful local sites to visit during your time off. The town of Almora-Binsar is just a couple of hours away. You can hike to Mukteshwar which is an hour away or swim in the emerald green Sattal lake a couple hours away. Walk in the neighbouring villages, meet interesting locals etc.
