Beschreibung
We are a family-run guesthouse and hostel on a 1-acre property in Sri Lanka, just 100m from the beach and 50m from the lagoon. Slow Living is a peaceful, community-driven space where guests come to relax, surf, connect with others, and enjoy a slower pace of life. As the surf season approaches, we're excited to welcome a new wave of travelers and volunteers to help create a warm and memorable experience.
We speak English and offer a friendly, supportive environment where volunteers become part of the team while experiencing local Sri Lankan hospitality.
Working Hours:
3–4 hours a day
5 days a week
What We Provide:
Dorm bed accommodation
Breakfast included daily
Optional lunch/dinner at volunteer prices (Vegetarian: USD 2, Meat: USD 3)
1 free 0.5kg laundry load per week
Wi-Fi (limited, mainly for guest bookings)
4-day trial period to ensure it's a good fit for both sides

We can teach you how to fish for your food, grow your own food and to make authentic healthy Sri Lankan food. The people here in the village are all are very nice, you will be able to mingle and get to know everyone.

If you are still looking for a place, we offer free hostel accoms and one meal a day. Let us know!
The host is an amazing chef with experience cooking pasta, and healthy, organic Sri Lankan food. Some days, we will also serve seafood.
No fee, however, additional food, or bottled mineral water will all come under your personal expense. We will provide food and comfortable accommodations. -

During your time off you can explore the nearby beaches with amazing coral reefs, take our bikes and explore the vast seaside, travel all around Sri Lanka to explore nature, hike, surf at a beach that is in season. Near our place there’s also yoga and massages - Ahangama city :)
