  Hi guys,
  
  We are Remon and Freya. We run an eco lodge 40 mins east of Kandy with a strong focus on community and nature.
  
  Together with Remon's parents, we run 3 organisations that focus on nature and our local community and we are looking for an enthusiastic marketer to tell our story. Eco Lodges, Eko Land Produce and the Forest Healing Foundation are located in a Kandyan Forest Garden and centered on conservation and uplifting the community while promoting a more sustainable tourism and spice trade. The richness of these Kandyan Forests not only provides a diverse range of fruits and spices but also a haven for birdwatchers, yogis and anyone that loves being in nature.
  
  
  We have 2 volunteer roles available at the moment:
  
  #1 - Social media & yoga support volunteer (available all year round):
  - An enthusiastic traveller who shares our passion for community and nature
  - Has experience in marketing and story telling, especially SEO and social media i.e. Instagram and Facebook
  - Travels with a good camera or phone
  - Available for 1-2 months
  
  #2 - Experienced coffee and cocktail professional to train our local team (available mid Sep):
  Our aims throughout the collaboration are to:
  - Work with us to create a functional and efficient working space for our drinks service.
  - Find the best way to make our homegrown coffee to elevate taste and ensure consistency.
  - Train our local team to make a variety of coffees and simple cocktails in an exciting and inspiring way!
  - Available for 3 - 4 weeks (dates and length flexible)

  You will learn about the local culture, sustainable tourism, food systems and everything that grows in a Kandyan Forest Garden as well as create meaningful connections with our local team and people in the surrounding villages.

• 

  Arbeit

  Anyone that loves nature, community and most importantly - loves to share stories on socials!
  
  You will be helping for 4 hours per day, 5 times a week. Our days start early (between 7-8am) and there will be moments throughout the day to capture social media content but you will not be expected to work more than 4 hours per day.

  Unterkunft

  A private room in our volunteer house with 3 local meals per day. The house has a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, office and garden (shared with our yoga teacher usually).
