  A few years ago we decided to leave the city behind and start a more basic, conscious and less hectic life in a natural environment. We live in a cottage 200 metres from a beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach under the light of the Trafalgar lighthouse. Our cottage is surrounded by tranquillity and nature and the hustle and bustle of the city is far away. We try to grow our own vegetables and live more and more self-sufficiently. We love what we do and enjoy sharing our knowledge and concerns with volunteers who are interested in an ecological and sustainable lifestyle. We do not offer luxuries: accommodation in a nice and comfortable caravan, water comes from the well, our electricity is mainly produced by the sun, which means that we all have to use energy consciously and thriftily. At the moment we are building a dry toilet so that the volunteer has maximum independence and privacy. On work days we offer a coffee break with a mid-morning snack and a meal at midday. At home we cook preferably vegetarian food.
  
  
  Hace unos años decidimos dejar atrás la ciudad y emprender una vida más básica y consciente y menos acelerada en un entorno natural. Vivimos en una cabaña a 200 metros de una hermosa playa del Océano Atlántico bajo la luz del faro de Trafalgar. Nuestra casita está rodeada de tranquilidad y naturaleza y el bullicio de la ciudad está muy lejos. Intentamos cultivar nuestras propias verduras y vivir cada vez más autosuficientes. Amamos lo que hacemos y disfrutamos compartiendo nuestros conocimientos e inquietudes con voluntarios que están interesados ​​en un estilo de vida ecológica y sostenible.
  No ofrecemos lujos: un alojamiento en una bonita y cómoda caravana, el agua proviene del pozo, nuestra electricidad se produce principalmente con el sol, lo que significa que todos debemos usar la energía de manera consciente y ahorrativa. De momento estamos construyendo un toilet seco para que el voluntario tenga máxima independencia y privacidad. Los días de trabajo ofrecemos un coffee break con un snack a media mañana y una comida al mediodía. En casa cocinamos preferentemente comida vegetariana.

  Our house is a meeting point for many neighbours, friends and volunteers who have settled here. You will join us in our barbecues or join us in visits to neighbours. The daily routine becomes a continuous learning process between all of us, contributing ideas, techniques, sharing good times and collaborating in daily tasks. In the environment in which we live there is a young and dynamic community with surfing as a doctrine with a lot of cultural diversity.
  
  Nuestra casa es un punto de encuentro de muchos vecinos, amigos y voluntarios que se han establecido aquí. Te integrarás en nuestras barbacoas o nos acompañarás en las visitas a los vecinos.
  La jornada diaria se convierte en un continuo aprendizaje entre todos nosotros, aportando ideas, técnicas, compartiendo buenos ratos y colaborando en las tareas diarias.
  En el entorno en que vivimos hay una comunidad joven y dinámica con el surf como doctrina con mucha diversidad cultural.

  Arbeit

  We want to improve our small garden to provide us with fresh produce all year round. Tasks in the garden include: weeding, watering, harvesting, mowing. Once a month, I travel to Córdoba and appreciate volunteers taking care of Uro, our dog; to go to the beach together or play in the garden. We love to cook and we place a lot of importance on meals, mostly vegetarian. We are happy to have people who cook with us and enjoy a healthy diet. Ours is a private property and we do not plan to ask for any help related to any business.
  
  Queremos mejorar nuestro pequeño huerto para proporcionarnos productos frescos durante todo el año. Las tareas en el jardín incluyen: desmalezar, regar, recolectar, cortar el césped.
  Una vez al mes, viajo a Córdoba y agradezco que los voluntarios se encarguen de cuidar a Uro, nuestro perro; para ir juntos a la playa o jugar en el jardín.
  Nos encanta cocinar y damos mucha importancia a las comidas, en su mayoría vegetarianas. Nos alegra tener gente que cocina con nosotros y disfrutar de una dieta saludable.
  La nuestra es una propiedad privada y no planeamos solicitar ninguna ayuda relacionada con ningún negocio.

  El Palmar and its surroundings are a beautiful place, offering a great variety of long beaches with good surf spots, sandy coves, crystal clear waters, lighthouses and towers. Young people from all over the world come to surf and do yoga, explore the Natural Parks and visit the white villages. You can go hiking or move along a bike path that connects the area (EuroVelo 8), enjoy the good gastronomic offer and famous local products or you can stay at home to disconnect and enjoy nature, breathe deeply, spend quiet nights with the waves of the sea and feel as far away as possible from urban noise. It is a perfect place for lovers of nature, surfing, yoga, meditation and I offer you a bike so you can move around the area or a surfboard if you want to try the waves.
  
  
  El Palmar y sus alrededores son un lugar hermoso, te ofrecen una gran variedad de largas playas con buenos spots de surf, calas de arena, aguas cristalinas, faros y torres. Gente joven de todo el mundo viene a hacer surf y yoga, explorar los Parques Naturales y visitar los pueblos blancos. Puedes hacer senderismo o moverte por un carril bici que conecta la zona (EuroVelo 8), disfrutar la buena oferta gastronómica y de productos locales famosos o puedes quedarte en casa para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza, respirar hondo, pasar noches tranquilas con el oleaje del mar y sentirte lo más lejos posible de los ruidos urbanos.Es un lugar perfecto para amantes de la Naturaleza, del surf, del yoga, la meditación y te ofrezco una bici para que te puedas mover por la zona o una tabla de surf si quieres probar las olas.
