Beschreibung
Hi there, we live in a beautiful farm house in Ragusa province. We are located just a few kms from the sea and we are immersed in the uncontaminated Ragusa countryside landscape. We run a small bed and breakfast which offers tranquility and beauty to our guests. Workawayers are not involved in work linked to the b&b as we have our cleaner for that. You would be more involved in the general maintenance of the house, help with the garden and Veggie patch as well as work in the farm helping with picking up olives, carrubs, wood or other depending on the time of the year.
We offer an authentic experience with a Sicilian family!

We offer you to stay in a beautiful typical farm house perfectly located to explore this side of Sicily and its beauty. The house is immersed in the untouched Sicilian landscape with olives and carob trees and stonewalls. Incredible sunsets on sea are a daily pleasure at our farm. You will enjoy the beauty and peace of this property. You will experience the way of life of a Sicilian family. You will delighted with Bettina's amazing Sicilian food. You can also learn how to prepare authentic homemade dishes. This will be a true experience in the heart of Sicily!
Arbeit
We are a friendly family looking for someone interested in the countryside and nature to help us with the general maintenance of the house and the garden and the occasional farm help. Depending on the month of your stay you might be required to help with picking of olives and carobs (this normally between August and October). During the busy summer months, you will be asked to help with the garden maintenance and watering the plants. There is always something to do in the countryside!

Unterkunft
We offer you a room with your bathroom. The bathroom is to be shared when family gathering are hosted at house usually on a Sunday. We also have wireless internet. Your room and bathroom are located on the ground floor of the house. The rest of the family's bedroom are located upstairs.

During your time off, you can enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas which include Ragusa, ibla, Scicli, Modica and so on as well as the countryside or the seaside. We are located 3 kms from Santa Croce Camerina and Marina di Ragusa. There are buses but not too many, so if you do not have your car we can arrange something.

The location of their small farm and cottages is excellent in order to discover the Ragusa province.
They were very kind, offering me every time they were going to town a lift somewhere. That way I discovered a lot of places in a week only.
