The work is enjoyable because you work on your own, you know what’s to do and you can plan your day for yourself as long as all the work is completed at the end of the day. I really enjoyed that. If u are willing to work by yourself this is the right place for you. I loved to spent time with Nicole and Ayanna. We did many barbecues in the evening and enjoyed to sit at the camp fire. We also went to the beach together.
I also spent some time with Ayanna, we went for a biking adventure or jumped on her trampoline which was so much fun.

I stayed two weeks at Nicole´s and Ayanna´s home and spent a wonderful time with them and all of their animals.
The accomodation is a private part of the house with big bedroom and a comfortable bed, a bathroom and a kitchen. Food is provided and I cooked partly for me and also for all of us. Ayanna is such a lovely and lively girl and I spent two
… read more full days with her. My main tasks were cleaning the paddocks and stable which is some sort of a neverending story but with help from the horses or the dog it´s really cool. Also I had the possibility to work with the young stallion on the farm. That was a great task and I think both of us learned a lot in this time ;) I did walks with Mogli, the dog or played with him and while I was a few days alone, I fed all of the animals in the evenings. I even saw the piglets in their first days and that was something I never had seen before. So cute!
One day a week I got the possibility to drive with her to the other horses Nicole owns and also go on ridings.
Plus, she took me one day to Rostock where I could explore the city and eat great Pizza and on my last day we visited Rügen which was also wonderful.
My time at Nicole´s home and with all its residents was a perfectly challenging and relaxing time and if you like animals of all kind or also crafting work and you have no problem with working on your own, I can totally recommend a stay! Nicole was always willing to help me with whatever I needed and I felt truly welcomed into their family over the course of my time there. Thank you so much for everything!! It was fun to have them in the yard, as they were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They had no problems getting involved with the tasks, the children and the animals.

Every evening, Aga conjured something delicious for everyone to eat, which we all enjoyed together. With her quiet and friendly nature, she fit very well with us.
It was a pleasure to spend time with Aga and Michal, also the kids had a good time with them. I will now look around the Internet to book a trip to Krakow so that we can visit the two in the next vacation.

We stayed in a flat with seperate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, so after work we could rest and get ready for other adventures :)
The really cool thing is spending time together: we always ate dinner together. Nicole was very opened for cooking experiments, so Aga could prepare all kind of food (mostly vegetarian but sometimes there was a space for a salmon). And she makes incredibly good sugar-free strawberry pie!

Jaime visited us and our farm a few weeks ago and had many ideas what could be changed or improved. He fixed a door in the stable, which had been broken several times before. By now it is massive and will probably last forever. We have also cut some of our fruit trees and Jaime has made this into firewood, which I can use for the fireplace in the
… read more winter. He even built a bench out of a big branch and a board. The trips and activities Jaime time has always matched with my working hours and we talked very well on the car rides about God and the world. I already had the opener visit from Spain but through our talks I got a lot of insight into the country.
When the children came home in the afternoon, the three had many fun moments together. We cooked and ate together, we enjoyed Jaime's visit with us.

(Regarding the schedule) you have total freedom to help in what you most want, in the farm there are many things to do, I helped the hours that I wanted and in what I most wanted for that day. On the farm there are different tasks and with 4 or 5 hours a day you can help this family a lot.
I was able to choose freely if I wanted to travel a full weekend to visit another city, or have two free days during the week to visit Hamburg.
Nicole has been very kind and attentive to me, she has always bought me all the food and ingredients that I have asked for and she was always willing to help me, even when she was very busy.
Nicole usually travels to Rostosck and other cities and she has recommended me as many places as she was in her hand (I thank her in my heart).
In general Nicole, Cheyenne and Aiana are great lovers of animals, you can share a horseback ride with them or play on the trampoline with Ainana, in addition to the family company that during these 20 days have given me, I have also enjoyed of the privacy of having a kitchen and a bathroom.
It has been a very good experience in which I felt very accomplished, being able to help and improve my German!

… read more had my own small flat with a room, a bathroom and a kitchen and Nicole provided me with all the aliments and food necesary to prepare my own brekfast and lunch. Then the dinner was all together in the big kitchen, and it was really nice because we used to talk about a lot of things.
And then, at the weekend you are free to visit by your own some close city or you can stay with the family and do things together. One weekend they took me to a climbing tree park and another one to the racing cars.

Felix has already visited us for the second time. The first stay was in October 2017 and the second visit a few weeks ago.

… read more water pump and connect, set TV right again, connect the lamp, etc. In October, we had ripe apples and pears, we collected these and they were processed into juice.
As the 1st of October is a public holiday, we used this day to take a ride on the beach which is always a nice change to the normal rides. Felix got along really well with our horses.
Felix manages to involve the children in the activities or to have fun with the girls.
Recently we made after the necessary purchase in the hardware store a trip to the beach, unfortunately the water was still too cold to go swimming.
I hope Felix will continue to visit us, as we communicate actively even in times when he is not with us.
