  Beschreibung

  We are a couple from Canada/Serbia. We have a house in the village of Draca 8km from Kragujevac in central Serbia. It is a beautiful fertile farming region reminiscent of Tuscany. We are located only minutes away from the sublime and peaceful Draca monastery, with hiking trails nearby, as well as from Memorial Park with its monumental sculpture and Jezero Lake, ideal for swimming.
  We are readers of philosophy and literature, and lovers of gardening and cooking.
  While here, you will be comfortably accommodated and we will be happy to take you on cultural excursions during moments of leisure.

  We are currently renovating our house and are looking for persons to assist us who are experienced especially in ceramic tiling, painting and masonry. But we are also looking for persons to simply help out in gardening and woodcutting. We will assist in all tasks.

  Unterkunft

  You will have a room to yourself, with a wood stove, electrical stove and fridge.
  You will be provided with two meals per day, breakfast and dinner.

  We like it quiet after 10PM.
  During your time off there are museums, parks and monasteries you can visit. The vibrant and beautiful cities of Belgrade and Novi Sad are easily (and inexpensively) accessible by bus and train (Belgrade-Novi Sad). Kustendorf is also relatively close by, the traditional village the Serbian film director Emir Kusturica built for his film Life Is a Miracle.
