I am Astrid, a 72 years old Dutch lady living alone in the heart of France surrounding by all beautiful green areas.
I am quite fit, energetic, open-minded enjoying driving a tractor every day.
My sister lives close to me, so sometimes I enjoy being with her and my friendly neighbors together.
I have a small house, raising 1 cat, 7 happy sheeps and 6 chickens
I need help for animal care, gardening and general maintenance.
There is a lake nearby and you will enjoy this peaceful quiet neighborhood.
The closest town is about 22 km away by driving.
Sorry that there is no public transportation to the town, but it will be perfect for those who enjoy quietness and peace.
Animal lovers and flower lovers are always welcome.
I do not have any special diet, but it will be okay if you have, like vegetarians.

By interacting with lovely animals (sheeps , Chickens ,cat) and peaceful garden, you will learn how to take care of animals and plants.
Also I enjoy learning different cultures. So, we can have time to share our cultures and learn from each other together.
And, if you wish, I can teach you Dutch and Dutch culture.
Arbeit
I have some problems with my knees.
It will be great if you can help me with my garden, animals, and general maintenance.
Just keep the garden clean and nice, do feeding and cleaning for my sheeps and , chickens and some seasonal building projects may be possible.
As this is a remote area, I prefer volunteers to stay at least for a week.

Unterkunft
You will have your own comfortable private room, a shared bathroom and toilet in my house.
Wifi and TV available in the house (English movies available at night).
I have two double bed private rooms so I can have more than one person at a time.
Three meals are provided and you will eat with me.
I always cook food but if you like to cook, it will be a great fun, too.
Please let me know if you have some special diet requirements.

There is a nice small town called Gueret nearby where there are parks and museums for visiting.
From there, you can take a train or bus to Limoges (1.5 hours), a bus to Bordeaux (3.5 hours), a train to Paris (3.5 hours).
