  Hello everyone! We’re Henri and Deisy, a couple of travelers!
  
  At this stage of our lives, we’ve decided to settle in the Castelli Romani, a historical and geographical region rich in nature, history, and traditions, just outside the great and fascinating city of Rome. We believe in a multicultural, open-minded, and constantly evolving world, shaped by people, ideas, experiences, and different ways of living. We’re just at the beginning of a project that means much more to us than simply having a place to live: our dream is to create a home base for an international community of travelers that, over time, can become independent and self-managed, even when we’re away. A home where some people can stay for longer periods, while others may stay only for a short time, each contributing their own skills, passions, and ideas.
  
  We imagine a place to share with curious, independent people who are open to exploring alternative ways of living, where everyone can discover new possibilities, develop personal projects, and exchange knowledge and experiences.
  
  We believe there are endless ways to live, and that our passions and skills can help us create a simpler, more conscious, and sustainable lifestyle. We like to imagine a life where doing what we love can also become a way to support ourselves financially, while giving us the freedom to choose how and with whom we spend our time. We’d love this home to become a starting point for those who want to truly experience life in Italy, rather than simply visit as tourists. A place to experience everyday life, build meaningful connections, and perhaps discover new opportunities for the future. The area where we live is also part of this vision. Rome, with its incredible history and vibrant cultural life, is nearby, but so are volcanic lakes, forests, mountains, the countryside, and the sea. A region full of possibilities for anyone who loves nature, sports, art, culture, or simply the freedom to explore.
  
  We’d love to build all of this together with the people we meet along the way, making room for everyone’s ideas, initiatives, and individual journeys.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Our daily life is quite varied, and we like to let each day and the people we meet inspire us! We enjoy cooking and discovering new recipes, going to pubs, spending time at the lake, playing video games, and taking care of our animals. We’re also interested in physical activities, gardening, growing plants in our greenhouse, and small DIY projects. And of course, we also love doing absolutely nothing, enjoying some peace and quiet, and just letting time pass without any plans! We’re also streamers, and we’re planning to start a channel about sharing everyday life with travelers from all over the world. Anyone who wants to be part of it is welcome to join, but participation is completely optional. For us, cultural exchange happens naturally through everyday life: learning new languages, sharing knowledge, discovering passions, and trying different activities together. We’re always curious to discover what each person brings with them and to be surprised by new ideas and experiences!

  We’d love to welcome people with different passions, skills, and ideas who would enjoy sharing their knowledge and contributing something personal to our home. Here are just a few examples of what could be useful:
  
  Website creation support
  Video recording support
  Creating paintings and decorations
  Making small artistic items (jewelry, ornaments…)
  Giving new life to furniture or creating useful pieces (lamps, drawers, etc.)
  Sharing knowledge of physical exercise and wellness activities, such as Pilates or similar practices

  Whatever your skills or interests, we’d love to hear your ideas and see what we could create or improve together.
  
  We can talk about your stay and show you more about our home and current projects through a video call or pictures.

  We offer a private room or a shared room with another Workawayer. You will have access to private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, and an internet connection.

  Our home is located in the Castelli Romani, not far from the center of Marino.
  
  Getting around and transportation:
  
  Bus: The nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk from our home.
  
  Train: The train station is about a 30-minute walk away, with connections to Rome and other destinations.
  
  Bicycle: We have a bicycle available that you can freely use during your stay.
  
  Since we’re located outside the city, we simply recommend checking public transport schedules in advance, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
