  Our Retreat Center at San Geronimo Lodge is a rural retreat center in the high desert of northern New Mexico. Our property is 100 years old and sits on 3 acres which include a seasonal swimming pool, year-round hot tub, yoga yurt, meditation path and 18 rooms. We are close enough to the town of Taos but just far away to experience peace and quiet. Our property is near tons of hiking trails and just 40 minutes away from Taos Ski Valley and 5 minutes away from the Historic Taos Pueblo. We host a variety of retreats (yoga, meditation, writing, etc) throughout the year and we also operate as a hotel. We are growing and need housekeeping and general upkeep around the property. Workawayers can expect lodging NM state minimum wage, and new friends ;)

  Taos is home to the Taos Pueblo- a world heritage site and the longest continuously inhabited pueblo in the region. When you come to Taos you will notice the enchanting adobe buildings and homes as well as the large artist community that has developed. If you are interested in native history and native art, Taos is a great place to be.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for kitchen and housekeeping support. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner to our retreat guests and need help with meal prep, cooking and cleanup after meals. Kitchen experience is desirable. Ideally, a workawayer will be cross trained in the kitchen as well as housekeeping. As retreats check out, our team will need help cleaning up to 18 hotel rooms. Workawayers can expect lodging, some meals and NM state minimum wage.

  Workawayers live in a hotel room on the property that has a Queen Bed, a loveseat, coffee table, TV counsel, 4 top table, minifrige, toaster oven, and kettle. Private bathroom with shower and tub. Closet for storage and hanging clothes with a dresser. Private entrance as well as a door to our lobby.

  Taos is a rural town with the nearest airport in Santa Fe (1.5 hours drive) or Albuquerque (2.5 hours drive). It is highly recommended that you have your own vehicle. There are countless trails nearby and the town square is 2 miles away for shopping or eating.
