  We live in a Greek village, few minutes away from a lovely sandy beach, close to a beautiful Venetian city of Chania.
  Our modern house is surrounded by olive trees and large garden, which is becoming more difficult to maintain on our own . We also have cats and chickens, so plenty of cuddly company and fresh eggs.
  
  We are experienced WorkAway hosts. We have also hosted many house sitters who stayed with us and looked after our animals when we were away.

  We are a British couple living in Greece. Murray is a writer, interested in spirituality and mythology. He develops online learning courses.
  Dorothy loves gardening and hiking the Cretan mountains, and runs a property business remotely.
  We enjoy meeting people and having long interesting conversations so plenty of opportunities to practice English, while soaking up the wonderful surroundings and Greek hospitality.

  Arbeit

  Help with garden maintenance - mainly weeding, planting and cutting in our private garden.
  Also some light maintenance around our house (like jet washing the parking area, applying protection to wooden decking etc). If we can find somebody with suitable skills, we also would like to redecorate some of our rooms.
  Your work will leave you plenty of time to visit the area around us, or enjoy the beach.
  We have all the tools and materials needed.

  Unterkunft

  Own bedroom with private bathroom, overlooking a garden, with independent entrance.
  Fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave included.
  
  We will provide 3 meals a day - breakfast and lunch will be self service, with all the ingredients provided. Dinner will be freshly cooked by the host, using mainly local ingredients, our own olive oil, and eggs provided by our chickens.
